Clayton Oliver was in his 3rd season before selection, a tough market to break into AA midfielder contention.

I'm torn.

On one hand... It's the nerdiest (saddest) thing I've ever seen.

I think also. Carlton are smart enough to realise its wrong to take advantage of an 18 yr old . When he is older he may regret what he signed as others start earning more because every two years they get a raise in their new contracts. And we arent going to over commit the clubs money either on an 18 yr old. Not even for Sam.
