Great Effort To Win Back-To-Back.

Good to see some success coming to a few of the Melbourne players, very happy for Moltop and good development curve for some of the younger ones.

Chad Leddal (Sandy skipper) was just saying that they'd mentioned Broady earlier in the week. Good on them, they were too good on the day.

heffernan mentioned he intends to stay at melb next yr, i think the coaching staff have other ideas... good to see ward get BOG

well done guys, good to see you do it for troy.

By the way how much did you pay Pat Bowden to play for you today?
A pack of cigs.

Great game to watch i thought, hard fought and pretty exciting, good to see Arma have a great game...unlucky in my opinion not to be BOG. A lot of the second tier Demon's played well and some Sandy guys like Crowe, Gadsden and Kennedy played well too. Well done guys...now it's time for the Dees to step up.

Mme, only Bate and C Johnson and p Johnson and Jamar will figure in our plans (and perhaps Walnough). The other MFC players will most likely move on.

Ward and Motlop demonstrated that they were a level above the rest in that game, I know that Ward wants to go but I'd keep him before about 6 other players.
Jamar and Paul Johnson will be ok, Chris Johnson has the goods and Bate looked a little lost on the weekend but he'll be better for the run. I just don't understand why Armstrong hasn't played more games, hopefully another club will pick him up and give him more opportunities.
Is Sautner going to play next year? It would be good to get Dunn or Newton at FF to develop their games some more.

Well done to Sandy, extremely pleased to see them go back to back.

Regardless of their performance indivdually on the day, the likes of Heffernan, Williams, Godfrey etc will still get the flick. They are good at VFL level, but horrible at AFL level.

Chris Johnson will be fantastic, his progress this season has been wonderful. And look for Paul Johnson to figure more in our plans for 2006.

Good on Sandringham for winning back-to-back. Even if it's our affiliate club, it's still good for our players to taste success and win premeirships.

I find the Zebra's a funny lot. I don't get to see them often enough, but on the odd occasion I do it's the Sandy boys that stand out. I think that's why the partnership has worked so well. Liddell, O'Keefe, Crowe & Biddlecombe always impress me & most of the other VFL listed players like Summers & Gallagher look better than your average VFL player. The Sandy boys are the stars of that team & the Dees players usually make up the numbers.

However on Sunday Ward,Motlop & The Johnsons were the difference which is good for us, but I'd like to see it happen more often. Sautner's had a good career but I agree that it's over. It'd be good for the MFC to have one of our guys fill the void, I can't help being a bit selfish in wanting the Dees players make more of an impact.

Sandy were great but Werribee were very poor, yet again overawed by the big occasion.
