When Koula comes out to kick with me at one of my three ovals in the front yard, I believe you'll see bad disposals.

Just as a matter of curiosity Koulagirl, can you kindly translate this mystifying statement??

Three ovals in your front yard??

Bad disposal from Koula or you??

You've got to come up with something more inteligent than that.

What does 'inteligent' mean? Or do you mean intelligent? How am I supposed to make a good comeback if you can't spell the words I want to use?

Where I live, I have 24/7 access to three ovals... they're just out the front door here, two are over the road and one's just down the path. ;) GO THE CRABS!!!

Bad disposal from me - I can kick but not very straight. Koula looks brilliant compared to me... hell, even Schell's effort looks brilliant compared to me...

Thanks for that. :)

If you're a worse kick than Schell you really do need some practice!!:D

And who are the CRABS for goodness sake??

It still doesn't change the fact that he has had another game where his disposal has let him down.
Should really stop taking it personally everytime somebody says that he had a bad game.

well said!!!

Ben Rutten (West Adelaide)

Its not the best game I have seen him play but he tried all day. He did a lot of chasing and harrassing in the forward line. He layed a lot of tackles but only about 50% of them were effective. One of only a handful of players that used their possesions well.

I would have to agree that he tried, but do you think Ben has been played out of position? Last year Westies looked alright with him at CHB and he had a good year. When Rutten was sent back in the third he looked more confident and did some good things. At CHF he's having a bit of a hard time. I'd much rather see him at FF if he is going to be a forward. If Wests are concerned with a lack of forward options now that Richo is gone, why not play Jericho in the seniors?

GO THE DOGS!

He is more comfortable at CHB but I think the Crows have asked Westies to play him at CHF. I honestly think that he can turn into a very good CHF. He needs to learn that position and he cannot learn if he doesn't play there. To be fair the delivery to Westies forward line was pretty poor but he made a contest of it.

I might be wrong here but Mark Stevens was a bit uncomfortable in the forward line at the start of his career in Adelaide. Only a couple of years ago he became a very good CHF. I think Rutten might be the same. He's got great physical attributes to play CHF and he has got the skills. I am REALLY impressed with his work below the knees and his reading of the play is second to none. I would persist with him at CHF as we are blooding him for that position. He's played some blinders at CHF in the past.

The thing with Jericho is that Crows want to turn him into a midfielder. He has got great pace and agility for a 190 cm player. You do not loose ability to kick goals. Its more of a natural instict that Luke has. He was named in Westies Reserves best players but has played further up the ground. Could be smoky to become a defender in the mould of Smarty. Thats a HUGE wrap.:D
