On the occasions I'm not working or studying and make it to a game (yes I know more committment is needed) I wind up with this young bloke in a Port lace up gurnsey and heavy metal shirts who always gets into a fight. I try to have intellectual banter with the opposition, but they always seem to want to fight this bloke I'm with.
Maybe I need another friend at the footy, as this bloke is Trouble.

It appears you need to find a new club. I suggest Glenelg, they don't hurt anyone these days.
