Sturt - bye

Well on Friday night at the Parade, Greg Gallman will make his league debut for North Adelaide as he lines up at CHB. Bryce Campbell is also named in a squad of 23 for Norwood and could make his first league appearance of the season. Darren Pfeiffer will once again line up on the wing if he isn’t playing for the Crows.

Down and Broadspectrum Oval the Crows will have 3 players in action. Ken McGregor will play for the first time this season, while Kurt Tippett and Luke Jericho will be in action for West. On ABC TV Ivan Maric will be playing in the seniors for the first time of the year, and Archard and Turner could be playing for South.

Here are the line-ups for the games which feature Crows players. 3 in tonight's game, and 3 in the other. Bryce Campbell and Ken McGregor will make their first league appearances of the season. No players are in the other two games, as Maric is still playing reserves.

Pfeiffer has been pulled out of tonight's match to act as emergency for tomorrow. Pity as i'm going to be there:thumbsd:

I was looking forward to the confusion of having two Pfeiffers, Campbells and Motlops on the field at the same time..
Alas, it was not meant to be.

Motlop on Vallejo. Two Darwin lads there. :thumbsu:

How has Vallejo been going?

Extremely disappointed with the result. :( We should have won, and would have if we didn’t miss so many crucial chances in the second and third quarters. Bryce Campbell made a great return and applied numerous crunching tackles.

Cockshell still hasn’t got a great kick, but he has improved his action a fair bit since him time with the Power. Gibson was great I thought, and Vlatko did indeed teach Greg Gallman a lesson.

Apparently Joffa was about the place tonight and given absolute sh*t by some of the crowd.:D

Yeah mate us Groggies got stuck into him big time, he walked past us before the As started but didn't see him after that.

Alleway was brilliant and Ladhams kicked 6 according to SAFooty, he was a gun as well.

If Norwood had kicked straight it could have been different but that's what killed North last week. Great game of footy though. The first quarter was 7 goals to 6 I think.

Happy to get that win especially after the blunder at the start that left North with just 1 interchange player for the whole game. Apparently North named O'Hara and Martin on the bench on the official team sheet, but after a late team meeting some positions were changed which created an illegal interchange scenario which meant that both players were inelligible to go back onto the ground.

I thought both Gallman and Campbell did some good things but were far from outstanding and will be better for the run. Some of the tackles GG layed were absolutely bone crunching and i thought most of Vlatko's goals were not due to faults by Gallman but just due to bad luck. (As in one he left Vlatko to lay a huge tackle on Gibson the ball spilt loose, Vlatko kicks a goal). Also Campbell layed a huge smother which was impressive, apart from that he spent most of the game giving away frees.

Was also good to see both Huddo and Pfeiffer there. Huddo chatting with his North reserves teammates and Pfeiffer with some atttractive female talent:thumbsu:
