I looked hard at Waters and Hunt over Schoenmakers, but was worried they may not hold up injury wise, considering what they were coming back from. So I chose Schoenmakers because it looked in the pre-season as though he may get uses a bit as a sweeper in the back line and get a bit of ball. As you say, at least you know he will be there most of the year as backup for injuries.

How is Div 2 going? What is the average score per round? Div one is def the strongest league im in sitting 167 out of 31610 and an average score of 2113 per round. Although trying to drum up a bit of banter in the chat and noone wants to talk back. Think everyone is a bit serious in there.

We've been averaging 2051 Wacky, ranked 1562 in leagues. Good comp with four of us now with 4-1 records, DD somehow 3-2 (2nd highest in rankings) and a couple just outside the eight who can pull big scores.

I thought Barnzy was going to roll me despite his off-week with Goddard and Hille starring in the last. That's two sides (Barnzy and DD) I've beaten by a small margin now that were better than mine on paper...surely used up all my league luck before finals is anywhere near.

If every player in my side hits their average I'd score about 2370 (with two significant upgrades left to do)...but highest score for the year is 2303 and nearly every week I'm mid-2200's...upgrading to stand still?

Looks like there is going to be some real competition for league 1 spots next year. Currently the highest overall rank in Div 1 but sitting 8th on the ladder with a 3-3 record.

You've both had a below average start compared to your usual scores DD, Barnzy especially. Early days yet of course.

When I click on your sides from the league page Goodes doesn't show up in either of your sides. Seems pretty obvious you ditched Medhurst for him, but Barnzy's forwardline and midfield were complete, so I'd be interested to see who he traded for Goodes...guessing Brown? Big call if so.

Feeling a bit the same after last week's loss mate, but the way our league draw worked out, you, Barnzy, Paul and I (and someone else from memory) all had our toughest games early on. Should all have a pretty decent run home - my last game is the SC virtual bye against that Sydney maggot Sheedy.

I finally relented and got Goddard in for Kennelly...hoping having Lake knocking out many more whoppers will be enough uniqueness to finally start making some ground on you two runaway points leaders.

Yeah, Barnzy's certainly had a spectacular recovery from his Friday night scores! Everyone saves their best for you DD.

Hope so mate, I haven't had a big one yet this season.

Geez I'm relying on some risky up and down players today though...Harvey, Betts, NicNat, Waters, Fyfe, O'Keefe...worked out that if they all get their averages I'll get around 2600, if they all play to their best 2800+, but if they all put in their worst I'll struggle to get 2000.

Hard to have much confidence in the upper end of possiblities with that lot, just hoping most of them have decent days.

Good scores mostly all round in our league, in a reasonably low scoring round comp wide.

Yeah, we're all making a bit of a charge DD, I see you and Barnzy are well inside the top-1000 now, Barnzy top-500, great work.

I was disappointed in my score, could have been so much better. Only had two blokes out of eleven get their average today, very frustrating. Ah well, crept up to 2,659th and I'd certainly take that score every week.
