They go up/down after a player plays their third game of the season, and every game that the player plays after that. Not every third week or every third game, EVERY game that the player plays from their third game onwards.

Trying my best not to trade, but Ive had a gutful of Clarke and really don't believe he will be back to last years average with a healthy Luenburger.. and the suspension...

So Clarke beomes -> Sandi... or call me crazy but what about Jamar? started well and doesen't have any strong contenders so will get a lot of it.... Could easily be averaging over 100+ for the whole season...

Plus Roo...-> who knows, leaning towards Rioli at this stage..

I have tippet, Bock, Roo and franklin all out this week....a lot of people in my league are in the same situation.

Roo > brown is a sure thing. was a tough pick over brown and ROK however I plan on gettin ROK in later and he should be cheaper in a few rounds than brown will be.

I cant find any info on Bocks injury except that it might be 2-3 weeks but nothing for sure. im tempted to trade him for gilbee who will go up lots this week, because a remember last year bock was meant to be coming abck each week and it ended up being ages with him sitting on my bench....

i think i will sit on tippet as there is noone to swap him to but seaby and nic nat. im hoping they rest him this week so he can get better before he plays next. if he has another poor week he will drop another 60k. i dont wanna swap my rucks till i know if tippet, clarke or cox are gunna fire up. im just spewing i have to cover him with warnock.

Do you guys think i should swap bock for gilbee? i have 85ish k in the bank after the roo-brown trade.
(bock was a shocking choice at from the start,, i shoulda learnt better last year when i had to swap him out for gilbee)

im in the same situation as you regarding bock and rooey!
im going rooey to goodes i think as i already have rok, pav, brown, higgins...

im not sure if i will trade bock yet, as if heath shaw and hurn may miss as well, so may trade bock for gilbee...id prefer to keep him if he is only out 2-3 weeks and just play one of waters/maguire

Alright everybody, the trades been locked in im bringing in boomer and rioli, two extremly talented dwarves lets hope they can score a few hundreds for me. Their gonna have to replace my big guys tippett and riewoldt, this is a pretty big task for some small guys

Would please love to hear somebody's thoughts on the following options I'm currently mulling over. Unfortunately I only have 2500 in the bank. I haven't used any trades to date.

Current Forwards: Riewoldt, ROK, Higgins, Harvey, Hall, Medhurst, Hitchcock (Gumbleton, Podsiadly)
Current Rucks: Tippett, Hille (Warnock, Trengove)

Option 1:
Roo -> Brown
Tippett to the bench with Warnock subbed on.

Option 2:
Roo -> Brown
Tippett -> one of Seaby/Naitanui

Option 3:
Roo -> Pav
Tippett -> Kreuzer

Option 4:
Roo -> Rockliff
Tippett -> Sandilands
+ some coin in the bank for a headstart on future upgrades

I'm leaning towards option 1 and taking a bit more of a wait and see approach with the ruck division, both in terms of Tippett and the potential trade targets. But after the last few weeks it's very hard to resist the urge to get Tippett out of my team as soon as possible!

Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance!

I am considering playing Warnock for Clark this week letting Cox fall in price. Hopefully I will be able to straight swap Clark to Cox..

I considered this exact same option... But with Nic Nat as my 2nd Ruck I really didnt want to Pair Cox + Nat together. Plus the verdict is still out about how dominanting Cox can be with Nic Nat knocking at his heels. So I will either jump up to Sandi or down to Jamar.

Thinking of playing Warnock this week to have another look at Jamar.. 2x 100+ and last weeks 60 stopped his pricing from rising too much, so am tempted to jump on this week.

Not happy to be trading Rucks, its the one postion I didnt want to touch all year..... So despite LTI. this will be the last one... so taking this decision seriously...

haha take them all too seriously though - gives me a headache for the whole week... Geez I love this game

Am I the only one considering Boomer Harvey for the Roo trade?

I don't have Goodes, Pav, Chappy or Higgins and already have Brown and ROK. I think he could be actually in for a big season. That round 2 game could be a turning point.

Haven't seen his name come up much.

if you can afford it get rioli for roo and sandilands for tippett

If not get James Gwilt for Roo and sandilands for Tipett

Gwilt could be a potential keeper, could be 480k player, he looks like h'obrien

I don't really know too much about Ivan Maric. But from what I can see, he scored 121 against the Dees on the weekend, but the game before that only 59. So I wouldn't get too excited over is score last round, because when up against a good ruck outfit he seemed to struggle, although Jamar is not a bad ruckman. I guess the advantages are that he's the no. 1 ruckman at the Crows, so TOG won't be an issue and he's hitting that age now where ruckman start to step up.

But having said that even though the rucks look very shallow this year and you could probably get away with your R2 averaging 80, I just don't know if he can reach that level yet. But that's just my opinion and I haven't seen the Crows play this year, so maybe you've seen something I haven't.

My question: I need to trade out Roo and am weighng up Goodes and Brown. I'm looking for some thoughts on whether maybe I should should give Brown a miss as I don't think he can keep those scores up all year and I wouldn't be gaining anything over my opponents. Maybe Goodes is a better option? Any thoughts? Thanks

i would go with option 1 mate and pick rioli as that trade for tippet. he looks like hes in good form so far in the season and he'll only get better. may get more attention as the year goes on but i dont think itll matter.

im not 100% on higgins but hes one player im looking at in exchange for roo. i m pretty sure he's the best bet that i can afford at this point in time out of the players i want (cant afford chappy by about 1k ) but higgins seems to have his season going the right way

I wouldn't analyze it too much but I'd look at getting Higgins or Brennan as a finishing F5-F7 premium - both in high ranked sides and work in midfield too. Then you'll be able to use the spare cash to upgrade a Goodes, Pavlich or Didak from your 250-350k forwards once their break-evens have bottomed out. Hope that helps mate.

HEY ALL!!

Have Roo and Tippett in fwd line.
All the talk is to trade Roo for Pav/boomer and Tippett for Rioli/Grundy

My gut feeling is that I should trade both Roo and Tippett as Tippett is really struggling regardless of whether he plays this week or not.

However for some reason my mind is telling me to save trades at all cost and just make the one trade this week in Roo for Brown and hang on to Tippett. I have coverage on the bench in Gumby and Hitchcock.

What is the best stategy? Roo for Brown and wait on Tippett. Or trade Roo for Pav/Boomer and say Tippett for Grundy/Rioli and burn two trades.

I guess you have to ask yourself. Will Brown keep his scores up?
Will Tippett bounce back? Will Rioli or Grundy become a keeper?
Surely Pav is a keeper.
I already have Goodes, ROK & Didak. Do i jump on the Brown bandwagon like everyone else or take a risk with the two trades?

Any thoughts or theories???

Alright guys I need some help I have two options:

Riewoltd down to Pods and choose either him or rockliffe for F7 and then connors to ablett

or

Riewoltd to chapman and gian to cyril leaving shuey in my mids for connors.

Advice is appreciated

Look at it purely from a point perspective..
Remember this is a marathon, not a 100m sprint.

What will get you more points in the long run.
You need to be thinking 2-3 weeks in advance.

By trading Riewoldt > a $400-$480K player, you are pocketing between $100-$180K.

You should have an idea of who you want to upgrade next, trading down a bench player and adding that to you kitty should have you around the $200K+ mark.

Then use that money to upgrade a midfielder.
Will a $400K player and the upgraded midfielder (hopefully to a premium) get you more points than a premium forward and the rookie/mid priced midfielder..?

There are alot of factors in deciding which route to take.
Who do you have in your forward line already.

Personally, I already have Brown, Chapman, O'Keefe, Harvey.
So trading down Riewoldt to a Rioli/Grundy is an easy choice, i pocket the $180K, downgrade a bench player and i upgrade Jordie McKenzie to Chris Judd in 2 weeks.

All depends on the balance of your team and where you think you can pick up the most points.

Already have $275k in the bank. Do i just straight swap O'Keefe and Roo or pickup a 400-450k player and immediately upgrade to Sandi?
