Soryy guys if this has been brought up before but me and the missus are coming to the scg from melbourne to watch the round 3 game against the tigers, we are vic members and on the card it say's we have access to the red zone, but in the swans magazine i recived today it it telling me that you arn't allowed to wear t-shirts and that you must wear a collard shirt, now i won't be dressing as a bum but we like to wear our swans jumpers over our jumpers or t-shirt.
also should i be booking a seat or are we able just to walk up to the gate??

The Red Zone is located in the SCG Members section (i.e. the MA Noble and Ladies Stand) which yes, requires collared shirts and enclosed shoes (for guys).

However they have relaxed the rules over the last few years and now allow you to wear Swans guernseys in place of a collared shirt.

Swans jumpers are normally OK, but I would advise you to carry a polo shirt in your bag in case the Goon cuts up. It is like getting into the members at the MCG. Having said that, on the short SCG, the down the ground view from the Noble is terrific. And you can buy a Crownie in the bar. Get there early, take your pick of the seating and enjoy the ressies go round. Just don't pinch my seat!

Yeah, they can be dicks. I'm pretty sure it's policy now to let Swans guernseys in (and it's what I always wear) but it can't hurt to have a polo shirt.

Front row of the Noble stand (i.e. not the ground level), right behind the goals are the best seats in the entire stadium IMO. You'll have to get there 5 hours before the game though if you want to beat my Grandad and old man to them.

Hey, long time reader first time poster.

I'm attending my first home game on Saturday night (also my birthday!), and I've got Red Zone tickets for ANZ.

Are there any similar protocols I should be aware of?

Cheers.

Nope. No dress regulations at ANZ.

Hey guys.

Sorry to bring this thread up kinda out of nowhere! Just wondering what the seating is like? Im a member and will get seats in the read zone but due to my own football comittments I wont be getting there until right on the first bounce.

Will I get some seats? Will they be ok?

You'll get seats downstairs ok, but would be lucky to get 2 together in the Noble stand itself.
