Schneider,for Moore.

Good to see see you girls jump on the Moore bandwagon.But as noted today
by certain footy commentators.Moore has big talent,but to get a position in
the firsts was always going to be tough. Management made a hard decision
and traded Schneider,to make way for a younger,and possibly better player
to lead our young brigade of players. Moore has slotted into Schnides role
very well, he is tougher and has a stronger body. And at the moment is showing that the faith shown him by the coaching staff is paying off.

I never had a big problem with the schneider trade apart from the fact we were losing a cult hero. We always had too many players coming through the ranks that could fill his spot. He was given a lot of chances to improve the way that Buchanan had and unfortunately for him he just didn't step up.

Jared Moore though..... f#*k me, what a gun!!! The way he bursts through traffic, stands up in tackles and takes the game on is such a refreshing thing to see. Our team has been screaming out for a player like him for a long, long time. I just cannot possibly praise him enough.

Bit early to tell yet as I recall Schneider burst on the scene for the Swans as well and this is only Moore's 18th game or so! I think only time will tell, but the signs look encouraging at this stage...maybe after the 3-5 years since drafting, Moore is ready to deliver the goods. We can only hope 'cos he does look high quality.

I'd love to see him play as a mid - something Schneider looked promising at doing, but never actually achieved. Moore has better stamina than him, though. But I wish people would let the 'future captain' thing come later.

Schneider had a better penetrating kick but Moore can break through packs and has stamina. Moores disposal should get better as he continues to expose himself to senior football (it looked to improve as the game went on). Moore also seems to be able to consistently impact on a match, Schnider could go missing.

There not really like for like but its 2008 and lets be happy with what we've got. so far the saints fans think they may have been dudded.

I feel sorry for Schneider. He is clearly struggling to find his form at St.Kilda. Either Roosy predicted a decline in form or he just misses Sydney, but it shows he needs good players around him to play well.

I think Roosy and the coaching staff recognised the fact that the weaknesses in Schneiders game weren't things that were necessarily going to improve no matter what they did with him on the track. eg: Composure under pressure. He's still capable of being a handy player for the saints but (and I hope I'm wrong) I don't think he's going to improve a great deal on his best at the swans.

The move seems to be going good for Dempster, at least. Had a good game last week, as far as I saw.

amazing the rubbish of some footy followers, particularly the older ones, who'll complain that the game's going soft, then make a call like that
holding the ball? the three port defenders certainly couldn't have been accused of holding the man

Not to mention Courage and Intensity which Moore has in spades.Sadly for Schneider playing in a side like St Kilda,these are areas he will never improve in.If you dont put your head over the ball as a Swans player you do not survive in games like yesterday,hence you get your marching orders.This is why guys like J.Bolton and L.Ablett who have attrocious skills in comparison to Schneider are worth their weight in gold to the way the Swans play this uncopromising unrelenting brand of never say die physically courageous footy.I continually get frustrated with the way these 2 players butcher the ball,but in battles like yesterday there is not many midfielders in the comp that have the absoloute warrior mindset those two do and thats why they survive in Sydney and players like Schneider do not.Oh yeah and Moore is a little beauty !!!!!! Sorry got a bit off track.
