Schofields back injury

Reported on 6pr from a reliable source, albeit by Grljusich and Judge, that Schofields back injury is a lot worse than is being lead on and he needs surgery, possibly season/career ending etc.

While obviously not our most important player, their was a fair chance he would be in our 22 for a fair bit of the season. If true, this could be a bit of a blow to our newfound midfield depth.

He's no hack, he's a quality disposer of the football.

But considering he's already signed a 2 year contract it does stink of Fabiangate all over again.

Hahaha Trent Carrol. That name will always bring a smile to my face. For the first part of last season I'd back the full forward for whoever the eagles were playing as the leading goal kicker for the round and Trent would make me a winner. If I wasn't so tight I would have sent wet toast a 10% finders fee each week.
