Could someone tell me what the actual go is with the scholarship players?

Like do we automatically get them in the draft when they come along?

And anyone have any information about the actual players... Scott Reed, Tom Young and Nick Perry

One more thing.... WHats the go with Jaxon Barham?

Thank You for any help!

Anyone got any idea?

We have the right to take them round3 in the draft they are eligible we may be forced i dont rember.

Jaxon isnt a schoalrship player but possible father sone selection.

All our scholarship players are apparently the bext in NSW/ACT in there respective age groups.

More info on all but Jaxon Collingwood website has it
Help?

There's plenty of information in the stickied thread "Future Magpies Watch" on this board.

Nick Perry (Penrith Swans) recently turned 15, Tom Young (Campbelltown Blues (?)) turns 15 this year too I believe. Both have been alternating between U18's and Senior football in the Sydney AFL. Both will likely turn up for the Rams in the U16 National Champs next year. They regularly show up in the best lists even when playing against footballers > 4 years their senior.

Scott Reed is 17, was listed in the best in the Division 2 GF for the Rams at the U18 National Champs last month. He plays for Pennant Hills in the Sydney AFL, Senior side. Is a HBF/Wing player but will likely develop into a KPP. Very quick, great skills, more outside than inside.

We can take the scholarship players with our last pick in the National Draft the year they become eligible. That's the 2008 NAB Draft for Reed.

Jaxon Barham is an overage player in the TAC Cup, meaning he's 19 years old playing against 18 y-o's. He is a HBF/Midfielder, very quick, and reputedly has a few tricks in the bag. He didn't play TAC Cup last year, but prior to that played alongside Joel Selwood in rep football. His kicking is his achilles heel, but he has improved greatly on this aspect of his game and is benefitting from playing regular, high-level junior football. If we take him it will likely be F/S in the third round at the absolute earliest.
