Maybe Riewoldt? But you would have to be a harsh judge as his hands are so good, though his goal kicking is woeful though I am not sure that Schultz is all that better.

Some might say Hislop though the way the saints move the ball off their half back line, we need someone who can apply defensive pressure in our forward line. Hislop did this on Saturday night and I know Schultz couldn't do it. I would go in unchanged.

For me, the interest lays around how Browny is handled. Should be right to go after the break, but who goes out? Or will they make him come back via Coburg?

Not at all for mine. Bowden >>>>> Browny in my opinion. But I doubt many people will share that.

If Schulz is to come in Patto will go out I guess.

Very true Ize, I admittedly forgot about Joel. Assuming both get a run this week against Port Melbourne, we could see them return against the Saints. But, again, who goes out?

There's no need to bring them back in in a hurry. Minimal, if any changes this week I reckon. Imagine how good our ressies are gonna be this week, Coughlan, Bowden, Brown, McMahon, Simmonds and Pettifer. With them getting it down we could see Schulz kick 18.

I am worried about the saints directing all their forward thrusts off their half back line. We need forwards who play accountable football and apply defensive pressure. I believe that Brown though skilled and great at kicking a goal when we need it, does not work hard enough defensively. He needs to prove at Coburg that he can do this before we should look to see him play for Richmond again.

Are you serious? You don't take a CHF out and replace him with a FF. At the moment we have one genuine tall forward playing each week, we need two.

Agreed, Schulz for Pattison - As far as i'm concerned all players get a clean slate now that Wallace is gone - give Schulz a few weeks to see if he can be a marking option in our new look lineup.

They can both play at Coburg and should be at Coburg as far as I am concerned. Now that Wallace is gone, I really hope that their wont be so many players getting games based on reputation

I actually think Vickery is a long way from ready for senior football.
He has now had a taste and knows what he needs to work on.

I would send him back to Coburg.

99% schulz won't be there next year. Why bring him in then
So do you think we are going to sack him and pay out the remaining year of his contract or will another club trade for him?

Everyones opinions are based on Schultz being played in a mish mash of roles and when he has been up forward, being part of a disfunctional Richo centric forward line and then getting dropped after 1 game.

He may well be rubbish at AFL level however he has been kicking bags inthe VFL and I'd like to see him get a good couple of weeks positioned at full forward under Jade with no Richo.

I think Schultz at FF, with Jack at CHF/HFF and Morton and Nahas floating looks alright.

He can't do any worse then Pattison who is the most undamaging player in the AFL.

I'd say they are on a equal par in talent but at least patto has a bit of ticker and has a go.

Its been discussed a lot however yes Pattison has a go however he is never going to kick 5 goals as a forward so if he is going to play it has to be as an around the ground ruckmen who handballs a lot.

We know that Schulz can take a grab and is a decent kick - I just want to see what he does in our new look side.

Schulz is a lazy disinterested footballer and he's never going to be any good
even in a new line up.

schulz should get a game but it's hard to find a place for him. and i would not drop patto because graham cant ruck all night and vickery should not be kept in the ruck for to long.
