How are they gonna go now with the sub rule! Down to two players. Not sold on this rule, at all.

I thought that at first but if you think about it, if it happens before they have subbed off they are actually in better position than prior rules.

Eg Collingwood have a 3 man bench, Port get an injury but sub off so have a 3 man bench, and then get another injury meaning a 2 man bench- so Collingwood have a 3-2 Advantage. But in prior rules it'd be a 4-2 advantage.

People have been saying Carlton were disadvantaged by subbing out Waite, but by a numbers fact they still had a 3 man bench and so did we- it was only a structural disadvantage
