Was named 2nd best for the Werribee Tigers last week behind Hansen, ahead of Sinclair and Ross.

I think Laidley said he was happy with the back-6 players. Hopefully he meant S.Thompson.

But when I looked on AFL site, S.Thompson was a starter so one can only assume Laidley meant S.Thompson. Problem is that S.Thompson doesn't get many possessions but the doesnt get clangers either.

Go Laidley, 2 more games for S.Thompson

Anyone reckon S.Thompson will get a game this week....

Everyone on here said Thompson was no chance of getting a game

I had to trade early that week (tuesday) as I was going away, therefore did not have the advantage of seeing the teams.

Wishing I kept him, but happy Proud has been named.

Edwards is a little closer being Emergency, but should have got rid of Edwards over Thompson.

after shocking coaching by me, I finally chose the right combo.

Had Hansen, SD.Thompson and Proud..kept the latter 2..

Surprising that SD.Thompson is playing at centre half back..

Now lets hope he scores another 75... SD Thomo reminds me of N.Brown..in terms of not getting lots of possies but scores okay.

Zilch. As long as he hangs round till Chad Cornes is back i think most will be happy.

Ibbo --- more likley to play more game and get better scores and possibly be easier to upgrade down the track

Personally would go Ibbo. I've already got Thompson, but will trade him out for the cash once I get a couple more games out of him. If I was trading someone in as a playing prospect, I'd go the proven 100 pointer.

Depends what you're looking for and it sounds like you know the answer, you just don't want to hear it. If you want a solid backup who's going to play then its Ibbotson. If you want to take a risk to make some more money then its SDT. IMHO SDT is going to struggle to consistently get a game considering Pratt, Brown, Firrito, Petrie, Gibson are all ahead of him as KPP or 3rd tall defenders. Add to that Sinclair and Smith who are also capable of playing tall but also draw a lot of the footy and it doesn;t look good for SDT.

i traded Glass 4 thompson and now ive got 200k in my bank but not sure if i should keep him in my team or if i should get a player coming up in the ranks that is around 83-300k any advice on how much he'll be playing this year
