I don't necessarily disagree with the $10k of liquid assets ruling. It's, at this point a 2 week lockdown, you should be able to survive if you have $10k of liquid assets.
This is why you save, rainy day and all that.

the rule only applies to the poorsooooo Gerry Harvey should repay yes?

Speculation. Fairly obvious I would’ve thought. It’d been greenlighted, produced, legalled and cleared.
ABC MD holds it over for a few weeks and then spikes it this week.
Not hard to see why. He was using it as a bargaining chip.
Where in the hell do you store 700 casks of Coolabah? You need to self declare if you have "liquid assets of $10,000" - I reckon I have that covered in wine
No one is going to get this payment. It will be more pain than it is worth.
Where in the hell do you store 700 casks of Coolabah?

So you are telling me Morrison manipulated the entire Porter thing for his own political benefit
I’m shocked
Nope, government made a dumb rule, which I said at the time, and smart businesses took advantage.sooooo Gerry Harvey should repay yes?
WTF is this clause in the federal 'support' stating you won't get it if you have more than 10k liquid assets. Literally punished for saving. What ******* brainiac thought that is required as a 'test' factor. F*ck sake.
Some people make forts out of toilet paper, others out of goon boxesWhere in the hell do you store 700 casks of Coolabah?
Harvey makes himself a target because he's a prize campaigner.Nope, government made a dumb rule, which I said at the time, and smart businesses took advantage.
I have said this multiple times, why do people say only Gerry Harvey when hundreds of thousands of businesses did the same thing? And all of them made money, alot quite a bit of money.

No doubt he is but in this instance did nothing wrong and the same as so many other businessesHarvey makes himself a target because he's a prize campaigner.
Thoughts Jim's mowing bloke?Harvey makes himself a target because he's a prize campaigner.
He's a raging hypocrite. He hangs shit on the less fortunate than him for receiving the pittance of government support that they get, suggesting that they aren't worthy of anything, while hoovering up millions of free money from the government for himself. No doubt he is but in this instance did nothing wrong and the same as so many other businesses

As I said, it is not democracy.
How is it "not democracy"?Speculation. Fairly obvious I would’ve thought. It’d been greenlighted, produced, legalled and cleared.

A lot of fine folk have enjoyed a night out on the Coolabah. You shouldn't be so disparaging of ok wine. Not all of us can afford the Spumante or Passion Pop.You’re the one up to date on Coolabah prices champ![]()
