We have definitely missed this polish in our midfield.

I said it last week whilst at the Carlton game, "We need Pendles polish out there.". Whether we would've won, who knows, more-so, irrelevant. But just seeing the way he was not missing a beat last night shows how much we have missed having that kind of class in the team over the last 6 weeks.

36 possessions, 16 or so contested, a handful of clearances and 5 tackles. What a great way to come back after almost 2 months out, and against the reigning Premiers in the wet too.

Absolute superstar, and defintely has to be in the top 2 best players in the AFL. Players of this calibre and poise are how Premierships are won, as one Norm Smith shows.

I recon he'll retire with a Brownlow and a couple Norm Smiths

I feel spoilt to see these champions play for collingwood.After a decade of being down with some players who were hacks,we actually have the best midfield i think we've ever had..although i am only young.And the best part of it all is they all want to stay a collingwood player.

Now apparently Travis cloke and dayne beams are GAWWWWWNNNN even though it is believed beams has already signed a back ended deal and trav will get what he wants and stay

I feel privileged.And i hope the next few years there is more to come

Agree, watching the game, I realised how much we missed him in the midfield.

Pendlebury and Ball seem to be the real leaders in that midfield, and can change the game on its head with only one disposal, so having both of them our really did hurt us.
