The thing that impressed me the most about these two is there courage.

What are your thoughts?

One of the highlights was Scott Selwood running with the flight of the ball with a pack about to arrive at the same time when he managed to punch the ball safely through for a point. Never took his eyes off the ball for even a split second. Scott's a keeper.

Both were impresive, always provided a hard CONTEST, unlike, Fletcher, Hansen, Embley. Those 3 should be dropped:thumbsd::mad::(

Scott, Brad, J Kennedy Masten will all atleast go at the ball or ball carryer hard. For those watching on TV Ben Mickinly, (excusse the spelling) Provided lots of chases and pressure unlike the 3 above, great effort from him.:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Selwood was good, Ebert was not very accountable- often got hurt on the rebound by his man.

I was particularly impressed with Scotty, had 14 touches in his first game and was not overawed by the situation. I hope Masten gets a gig next week and we see these 3 playing more games together throughout the year:thumbsu:

Impressed by both.

Ebert should've got more game time.
He always made something happen when the ball was in his hands, he was composed and used it well. Deserved more game time.

So far they have been playing better then most off our premiership players!!

I want to see Masten get a good crack show us why we choose him over Rhys Parlmer.

HaHa:thumbsu:. Yep, he played well and really looked at home out there. Nice call groga. I was more impressed with McKinley though:p. Imagine him and LeCras working together in the forward line with Wirra crumbing.
 
Scott is a Selwood, he will always put in the effort and be couragous when needed, its in the blood.
 
Out of all the Selwoods do you think Scott will be as good as the others?

Fair chance obviously wont be as good as Joel as the kid is a superstar but do you think he can reach the level of the twins?

He is meant to be the quickest of the brothers. Fingers crossed he could end up being the 2nd best Selwood :thumbsu:

A week or so ago during the channel 7 news there was an interview with the two Selwood boys & when asked who was the best, Adam said as kids Joel was always the most talented of the all

Don't forget Kennedy, Smashing packs allowing LeCras to crum!! we will be kicking 20 goals a game easy. BRING ON THE 2nd half of the season!!!!!
 
I can't believe Jay Clark's (I think that's his name) west coast player ratings in the paper this morning..Scott Selwood got 2 out of 10 and it said that he made bad mistakes and does not look ready for AFL...is he kidding? He has to be, surely, considering Embley, Hansen, Fletcher, Lynch, Nicoski, Seaby, Braun all rated higher IIRC.

They boys are keepers :D
 
I dont think Scott Selwood had a clanger all day. The bloke who writes those ratings is a oxygen thief and he proves it yet again. He writes shit to be controversial instead of writing stuff for it to be accurate. Seriously, the guys that big of a ________.

I read that what a Joke!! S.Selwood played better then half our team. At the least a rating off a 4, I would have given him a 6.o :thumbsu:
 
So we have got MAsten, Selwood, Ebert..... Mckinley?? what other kids are the eagles gonna give a go too. surely their isnt much more room for any more kids. I think that Josh Kennedy would be a good inclusion as it gives a good tall target down forward, as i believe lynch is more of a leading player kennedy os more a pack market that is what i have seen.
