In a stunning turn of events, the East Side Hawks would like to recognise the achievements of one of their players in the very same week that that player is participating in a milestone game.
The very important milestone, as I’m sure the entire SFA is aware, is Scythe ‘s 100th career SFA game.
The artist formerly known as Scythe94 started his career at the Furies, where he spent the bulk of three season playing his first 38 games. Shortly thereafter, he came to the realisation that it wasn’t a very good home at all and moved to the Demons, where he became a more significant contributor. His stint there lasted another three seasons and culminated in a preliminary final performance, by which time he was an entrenched midfielder in an elite rota and a much loved poster. However, like most here, he has a saviour complex than needed filling, so he made his way to the Hawky Walky Woolies for the start of this season.
It’s commendable the degree to which Scythe is now an integral part of our competition, playing a lone hand in managing the collation of stats at the Hawks while also reviving the valuable Rate The Opposition MVP. The competition is richer for Scythe’s contributions and the Hawks are ever grateful to have someone amongst us that continues to enrich both the club and league history.
Please join with me in congratulating Scythe on a memorable first 100 games, and to many more on his journey.
Congratulations Scythe! Apologies for the lack of media supporting this media, it just isn’t my jam. We are appreciative of everything you do here though.

Much like Bolivian cultural traditions, Scythe is multi-faceted. Their posting is light-hearted and FUNNY, their work behind the scenes is great and APPRECIATED, and their friendship is lovely and VALUED.
Across three clubs, Scythe has made great contributions to Sweet - and I hope that continues for the sake of us sll. Best of luck for game 100.![]()
My favourite Scythe memory is when they changed their username to remove 2 numbers from the end just so Hate would have to redo their SFA+ page
In all seriousness this is my first season with them so I’m still getting to know Scythe, but the amount of work they’ve put into the Hawks since arriving hasn’t gone unnoticed. Seems like a real team player and has a great sense of humour to boot.
Apparently Bolivians are good at basket-weaving. I don't know if Scythe is good at basket-weaving, but he is clearly quite talented at Qooty, so that counts for something! It's been great hanging out on the same team this seasonHappy 100th friend!

The Grim Reaper is commonly depicted as wielding a Scythe. That's about as much as I know.
If Scythe wasn't a Melbourne supporting, Sydney based, East Side Hawk we could be the same person, which probably would have been against the rules of Sweet. Fortunately we're not as proven by this photo from when we attended Carnival de Oruro in Bolivia during the off season

Scythe is a good egg (albeit a bit cracked for leaving us) and missed at the Demons for his good humour and sunny disposition. Flog.
Happy 100th Birthday, may a Phoenix poop on your cake![]()
In a stunning seventh season, Scythe has continued to establish himself as one of the best players in the competition
Scythe's run and carry together with his foot skills make him a highly valued asset to the Hawks' playing style, and he will be looking to continue his stellar run for the back end of S39
An absolute Clubman since he has arrived and been a real pillar of strength both on and off the field
Been an absolute on honour to be apart of your 100 milestone and look forward to being part of the next 100 !!
I guess I should say something for Scythe seeing I've played way more SFA games with him than anyone else has.
Scythe is an absolute idiot for leaving the Demons. Who would ever do that? Glad he did though because he's doing the stats so I don't have to do anything other than ignore Tarks.
Having to do the stats and write-up in a losing milestone match will be great for building character. Screw character building... a win would be way better.
Congrats Scythe.
Last time Scythe and I were in Bolivia together we were out one day appreciating the culture when he told me how excited he was for his 100th game.
I asked him if there was anything he wanted for the big milestone and he told me that some kind words of congratulations would be more than enough, but if I really wanted to make his day he'd love it if I could be a moderator on the Melbourne board.
So I'd like to take this chance to offer the warmest congratulations possible to Scythe for his remarkable achievement. He truly has made an incredible impact on the SFA in his first hundred games.
Congratulations Scythe! Apologies for the lack of media supporting this media, it just isn’t my jam. We are appreciative of everything you do here though.
