God I hope this guy makes it, for his sake after all he's been through and the teams sake ( and our sakes as long suffering supporters!)
However, he will have so much scar tissue around his shoulder, which will never, ever be as strong as the normal ligaments. Plus the oppo players are all very aware of his issues. Aswell, the hip and shoulder is one of the few remaining legal areas of contact. And we really rely on rotatations and a player down hurts us ++, eg when he and Rocca went off against the dogs IIRC.
Me thinks anything we get from the Rus is a big fat bonus tbh.
I see from pics( thanks guys) he's really built up his shoulders so that will give heaps of extra support to the reconstructed ligs and will hopefully get him through.
