Hey Guys!

Well I got my membership application form and am facing a bit of dilema as to where to sit. I wanna be undercover, standard ( premiums a bit out of my price range), and I was thinking any of these blocks 316, 315, 314 in the two tier stand subi end. Has anybody got seats in or around this area cause I wanna know whether they are worth getting them there or not.

Also what about under cover around 216? Any feedback on that?

It would be great if any of you guys could tell me what the view is like or whatever just so i put the best blocks down as my preferences.... Thanks CYA!

the only reason i wouldnt sit in the 2 tier stand is because i cant stand those wooden pews, much prefer the bucket seats. But if u dont mind the wooden seats then the 2 tier stand is great to watch footy from IMO

Very true.. I'm all of 19, but three hours on those horrible wooden things, and I'm hobbling out of subi with the back of a 91 year old.

I've been in 315 for ten or so years now, and the view has been pretty good. That said I don't really have any basis for comparison.

314, 315 and 316 are on the middle tier of the three tier stand, 315 is directly behind the goals

I've seen a couple of Dockers games from 215, its a bit more into the action when the game is at the Subiaco end, but the overall view is better from the second tier IMO. Would imagine 216 is very similar

I'm in 316 now, and really like the view. Being relatively short, I prefer being elevated that much. But, from memory, in the 2nd teir, you're only under cover from about half way down the block back, or something like that. Those blocks have got the bucket seats, but have no leg room. Good, sheltered view though. 216 and that area is pretty good too, though personally I like the teir above because it's more open.

Best thing I could recommend is to go to Subi at some stage (like training or ssomething, though I doubt there's time now) and just walk around 'trying out' the view in different areas. Thats how I chose my current ones when we moved anyway.

Like Q I sit in 315. Good spot. For me it's undercover. Good crowd around. Unimpeded view of the ground. I'm happy there. ;)

You should identify yourself to me and Mr Q.

Wonder if I know who you are in real life? I am the noisy one who never gives up even when we're 13 points down with 2 minutes to go against the bottom side.:D

Yeah, I will do that next year. I'm up near the back in row Q. I take it you and Q sit together? I seem to remember Q saying that he sat lower down than me and my crowd.

Hmm perhaps. Not sure. Who were you thinking of...

Apart from the tossers in front of us who leave early EVERY GAME that narrows it down a bit. ;)

I'm with my family (wife & 2 daughters) a few rows back from Mr Q - maybe HH (I can't remember now - I could take you there).

I have never left an Eagles game early ever. Even when down by a lot with a plane to catch. It should be illegal.

I'll make sure come season 2004 I'll come down and say hi.

Never left a game early either. Why would you?

I have sat in 133 and have now been a regular in 237 for 4 years now.

It is on about the 30m mark at the city end of the Roberts Road side. Good view and good people. I have never been told once to calm down (in 133 I was "cautioned" several times) despite the fact I am a psycho at the footy.

I have NEVER left early - even when we lose I clap the team off when they walk down the race.

I have been invited into a box a few times, which is a whole new experience if you can get there. Highly recommended ... It made the Brisbane game last year brilliant!

;)

315's right behind the goals. 316's over in a pocket. The choice is easy :)

I'm in Row "E". Used to be in 316, Row A in the early days, but I moved to a much better block back in about '94. Never looked back :D
