Just to put Sehwag's claim of the best Australian attack he's faced in perspective, the two times Sehwag toured Australia prior to this, he never faced Warne and McGrath. Both were injured in 2003/04 and, other than Gillespie, the attack was made up of Bracken, Lee, Williams, Bichel and MacGill. Both Warne and MacGill had retired by the next series and the attack was composed of Lee, Clark, Johnson, Hogg and Tait. So both times you had a lot of bowlers that were renowned for bowling a lot of four balls.

But....but.......Siddle and Hilfy are useless hacks, and Pattinson is too raw and green....and Harris is too fragile and soft....and Starc makes Mitchell Johnson look good!!

Always nice to see players stick it up the haterzzzz.

It's good to get recognition that we are building a strong pace battery, we have played 5 different fast bowlers this series, and Cummins has not played at all. It is very positive going into the next 24 months of cricket.

I find it strange that he says this is the best though, I would have thought the English attack that they faced would be stronger than the Australian attack, when you add Swann to their fast bowlers of Anderson, Broad, Bresnan, Tremlett & Finn.

Good to see him give our bowlers some credit as opposed to his opening partner. Used to like Gambir he was my favourite batsmen outside Australia for a while there but his recent comments were pathetic and typical of just another Indian who had given up before he even got here and cares little for his away form and more for what he manages at home.

Just came on to say this. Although he would have faced Warne and McGrath in 2004 in India, but he may feel our depth is better i.e. better than Kasprowicz and Gillespie.

Also, agreeing with you, Slim Dog. I used to have plenty of respect for Gambir but now he goes to the weakness category with Chris Gayle and Herschel Gibbs.

For me Chris Gayle stepped out of of the weakness category after his last tour of OZ. But he's still on the borderline a bit. It'd be good if he could get back into the Test team though!

What'd he do be considered weak in the first place? Is a shame that we won't see him (Somerset T20) or probably Pollard (Hamstring tear) this series. I can't understand how the WI Cricket Board could get their own captain so off side that he refuses to play Tests for them.

Pretty much responding to another post rather than actually thinking he's that weak or anything.

Look I believe Chris Gayle should have probably done better with his talent and have a higher average. It's not bad (what is it 41ish?). Many a time he threw his wicket away but in Australia you could actually see him buckle dow in a couple of innings before completely unleashing. There was a lot of pressure on him and he performed. Being a West Indies supporter it's what i've wanted to see for a long time. Now he's not even in Test consideration. I hope it changes.

Sorry, I meant it as is a genuine question, I've heard a few people call him weak, and I wasn't sure why people had labelled him as such. Must have been something that happened a while ago that I didn't hear of. Would be great to see him playing Test cricket again, for sure.
