Select an All Australian team 1975-2021

Seeing this is All Australian Team time again (with the AFL announcing a initial 40 man squad cut to 22 later on), maybe it's a good idea to get in on the act by selecting an All Australian side from the period 1975-2021.

The criteria for selection as follows:

-Starting 18 plus 4 interchange
-Must have played in VFL/AFL, SANFL, WAFL between 1975 and 2021
-1 coach
-1 captain & 2 vice captains
-1 umpire

The ruck was tough. Went with Cox and Michael as a ruckman who can play anywhere. To be honest there's not much between those two and a group behind them. Sandilands, Wynd, Stynes, Moss and Merrit all had claims.

Fair few in front of Mundy. Voss, Jarman and Tuck were the three I was trying to squeeze in. Dusty and Acker unlucky as well.

Nice Vic/SA/WA selection mix.
For 1975 onwards though, I wouldn't include Barrie Robran.
He played on from his 1974 knee injury, but apart from 1975/76 he missed most of the remaining seasons until his retirement in 1980.

Naitanui is the best tap ruckman I've seen but he can only runout about 60% of a game so he's out. Buckley and Enright are the two that I could probably swap out the easiest. Buckley is in for his superior kicking. Enright due to bias, although I don't think the team loses a hell of a lot, if anything by having him in.

I only ever saw McIntosh at S.O.O. time but I loved him, hard as nails and mad.

A few unlucky to miss out, the likes of Aker being one but Barlett would be the only candidate in my eyes to make way for him and Barlett's record speaks for itself.
