This has been happening for a number of years but this year really has gotten much worse. Today especially the selection of Adam Selwood who is really really past it and the selection of Shuey who injured himself again. It won't be long until Naitanui injures himself too and could risk his pre-season.

Get your ****ing act together match committee.

I have to be honest

I'd prefer to trade Nic Nat out. Get some high picks, recruit some midfielders...

The alternative is our pathetic MC and coach mis-managing and running Nic Nat into the ground.

Anybody see Selwood's acting skills in the last quarter? He was hardly touched, the ball was right up for grabs, and he went down like a bitch.

One of the worst individual performances by a senior Eagle in years. Bye bye.

Just a terrible decision to play shuey under an injury cloud and then a fitter Kerr in the 2nds.

Actually the alternative is to rest him until he is properly fit and get a few games into Lycett.

Wasn't Selwood in as an emergency? Its not like he was supposed to play.

So was Wilson, why wasn't he played instead?

If Crabwood is played next week I'm done with the Eagles for the year.

Wilson hadn't played in two weeks, I'd been disappointed if he had of been held over and not played.

I just can't see the point in flogging nic Nat who was all but useless when we have ****ing zero ZE-****ING-RO chance of coming within a cooey of a million miles of a granny - he hasn't had a decent preseason yet - how about let's work on ****ing next years instead of this dead rubber.

Which then goes why the **** aren't we getting those all important 50-60 games into young talent instead of slug selwood if he could but can't so he shan't

****ing drives me batshit insane

The Match Committee are on drugs. How do I know this, if they're not then we are seriously, seriously screwed for a long time to come.

Wholesale Changes are required to get us back on the path.

I can cope with the Shuey decision. But the Selwood thing has been going for 4 years. wtf?

If a bunch of randoms on an internet forum can recognise 4 F***ING YEARS AGO that A Selwood was past it, why can't Woosha and the MC?

Even worse, is that he has been worse than deplorable all year and they just keep playing him. This is just sheer incompetence.

I think the Selwood hate is overplayed. IMO I'd rather him outside the 22 but let's not pretend there are far bigger issues going forward.

The Shuey injury looks bad. I'm assuming he passed a fitness test but obviously the wrong decision was made.

The Selwood issue is a massive issue. It's a sad indication that our coach and MC have alzheimers disease.

But let's not stop at selwood. There's also Priddis, Waters, Embley. Then there's our midfield strategy and game strategy.

On one hand there are multiple issues, but on the other just a few key issues. The coach is clearly a major issue but if we are to drill down on what mistakes he is making:

1. Personal. Should have traded Priddis years ago, delisted Selwood, traded Waters, used Embley sparingly. This is probably our single biggest issue.

2. Gameplan. High risk, low reward. Very very hard to execute properly. All of Woosha's gameplan evolve around high turnover but if we execute the game plan correctly we make less mistakes and win. It just doesn't work with Priddis being the midfield general and having too many plodders.

Get those things right and most of the other problems disappear.

Priddis would have been quite a valuable commodity for the new clubs, we'd have gotten way overs for someone of his...ahem...ability.
