Caller after caller complaining of not receiving voting forms. Mark Robinson (I think) labelling the whole thing as farcical. Ox reckons it should be postponed even though to do so would be an expensive exercise. Serious repercussions come Tuesday night whatever the result.

I got my form today and will be driving it from Kinglake to Carlton tomorrow afternoon.

Has anybody made a start on the "DON'T BLAME ME - I VOTED DCT!" bumper stickers?

Thankfully I received mine in the mail today. Will be reading up on the candidates tonight, and faxing mine in from work tomorrow.

Think it is pretty poor that so many registered vores have not received their forms. Should make for an interesting meeting on Tuesday night.

Has anyone ever heard of an election where you can fax your vote in maybe this is how Bracks stays in
Wonder wh gets the job of seeing which vote gets counted and which vote finds its way into the bin
Sure all is above aboard after all it is Carlton

Considering we have the choice of 3 different "tickets", how can you point the finger at the current administration about this one.

Why don't you go and play on the nearest Highway pal. Nobody wants your agendas here. :thumbsd:

I still havent got mine, but then again the bums havent even sent me my membership yet

I received mine today in the mail, after i'd called and called and they (CFC) just called to make sure that voting forms had arrived? did anyone else received a phone call as well:confused:

MMMM The question was simple have you ever heard of an election where you vote by a fax machine
And what about the 32 people who contacted the club on Wednesday and Thursday to change their vote away from unity because of the Rose issue only to be told they cannot change thier vote when voting closes tomorrow
Got a view on that to blues fan
OPEN YOUR EYES

On purpose or not voting forms should have been sent out at least 3 weeks ago to make up for delays or loss in post.

Once again poor management by the club.

Since when can you change your vote after you have voted?
What the club should have done was postpone the election and have started again. But, that could have caused more problems for the club.

As for faxing in the voting form, I see no problem with that. I live and work on the other side of town, and it takes me a good 35-40 minutes just to get there, and that's with minimal traffic.

We all know the club aint travelling that well at the moment, but we don't need people like you reminding of it every other day.

I dare you to reveal your "source" that you claim to have. I bet ya you don't!

then it would not be a source and by the way its not one
so you cant change your vote is that like voting for a ticket called unity with Rose on board he speaks the truth and Smorgon hangs him out to dry
You can change your vote due to new evidence anytime before voting closing and if you trust whose standing next to the fax machine great
I agree it is hard to get there in a day as I think Johnny said it perfectly bad management which is what i have been saying for the past six months Malouf is a goose

So what happens if their is a traffic jam with the fax, I’ve only seen 1 fax number so far, and most of the times when important info need's to get through by the end date, theirs guaranteed that alot more supporters are going to angry.

Simple mate. Ring the club, as them for the correct fax number, fax it to them, and them call them in five minutes to confirm they have received it. Easy!

then it would not be a source and by the way its not one

Whatever you call it DW, I knew you wouldn't reveal it.

So I guy goes outside the clubs guidelines and talks about matters that are not shared by the rest of the board, and he gets sacked, oh sorry, retires. If you wanted to put a different slant on it, if he didn't get sacked, you'd be saying there is more factions on the board and they cannot see eye to eye.

Since when can you change your vote. Could you provide me where it says that in Carltons constitution.

As for the fax machine, you have got to be joking. If you are going to make stupid comments like that, then what happens when we drop them in at the club. If we haven't voted for the right people, it gets thrown in the bin.

I agree, the forms should have been sent out weeks ago. Why leave them to the last minute?

I never received mine, pretty annoyed I can't vote now, just shows that the current board can't organise or get a thing right.

I sould have posted this earlier... but my father and I continually rang up the club to send us our ballot paper, even though we had already recieved the 'How to Vote' papers from all the tickets.

We ended up getting a statutory declarion from the police station to say that we had not recieved our ballot forms. After faxing the stat decs, the club then express mailed our ballots and they are finally in.

Man its a lot of effort to be involved in your club.

I am so sick to death of this club i have just given up.

I have called and called and emailed to the club to death and I still haven't got my papers.

Member for 20 years.

They make me sick down there.
Every single person down there involved in the clubs operations are flipping hopeless.
Pathetic.

I've had it!
None of them could organise a root in a brothel!

Just got home to find a recorded message from the club checking that I had received the information regarding the AGM. They gave me a fax number and a 1300 number and the call was logged at 6.40 pm. ******** that - I'm driving down to MC Hammer Park tomorrow afternoon and delivering my paltry little protest vote in person.

The board are not responsible for sending out the ballot papers. The employees of the Carlton Football Club are. The Unity ticket have no more input into the co-ordination of this election than DCT or Darren Waitee, oops, I mean Lauraine Diggins. The truth of the matter is the club probably doesn't have enough administration staff to deal with memberships, election ballots or the day to day administration requirements of a football club. This, BTW, has nothing to do with who is on the board, but everything to do with our current poor financial position.

Those of you who choose to blame the current board for the co-ordination of the election obviously do not understand how board elections are run.

You got that right MS.
Why can't he just admit he has an agenda so at least he can be honest with all of us.

And who employs them? Who sets the direction for the club? Who timed the election when most people are still on holidays?

im just wondering if anyone else in the western suburbs got any forms ( or membership cards ect)

ive got mates that live in the city who got there voting papes weeks ago whereas myself and at least 20 people i know from around the werribee region have got nothing from the club........******** even an email would be nice:mad:

I vented my spleen on Wednesday.

About 3pm, Mark Doran rang me and I had a fair crack at the admin regarding this whole situation.

Smoron knows that he will get the ass....

He is making this election as difficult as possible!

This situation is unbelievable. Amauter at best!
