Had the Wonders scored one more point in their draw against the Furies five rounds ago, they would have been equal 1st on the ladder based on points and would have had a 0.0285% lead on percentage over the Bombers meaning they would be in first place.

Better also add that if the Bombers had scored one more point in round 4, they would still be 2 points clear on top of the ladder.

And that if the Gumbies had scored about 640 more goals they may have sneaked into finals.

Second Semi: Home team has won 11 of the 15 games with one draw. The draw in season two saw the away team in the first game listed as the home team in the second game according to Mobbs' statistical thread in the SFA archives. I can only assume that the away team (Hurricanes) assumed home ground advantage for the replay.

First Semi: Split at 7-7 each from 14 matches.

Away team in a final is indeed the home team for the replay.

While there are perfectly understandable real-life justifications for this, the actual reason is that if they stayed the same way around, the Sim would create stats files named identical to the first final, and over-write the first final's data!

We're ****ed if a final is drawn twice :D
 
The Roys were right all along. The penalty wouldn't prevent them playing finals, they just weren't good enough.

They would've beaten us though.

I hurts real bad to miss out on finals after 4 wins to start the season.

Furies finished 4th but I think they've had the luckiest season. Big wins and huge stats all around.
 
How did we not finish 2nd last again?
