TOP THREE OUT IN UNBELIEVABLE QUARTER FINALS MAYHEM

IT was a series of results that had been brewing beneath the surface for some time, but in a stunning day of matches, the top three seeds were bundled out in the quarter finals. The biggest shock by far was world number one JT, who went down to the unseeded NinjaSwan on hard court, a surface he has lost just one match on, and won five trophies. NinjaSwan won 7-5 3-6 6-4 to advance through to the semi-finals to play fourth seed reggie who knocked off sportsmaniac89 6-3 6-4 in a comfortable win. But JT's exit was not the only shock of the day, with world number two Dennis Lopez also exiting the competition courtesy of a huge shock from sixth seed Fizzler in the tightest three-set match including a tiebreaker in the third. But the shocks kept on coming with third seed German, EJW also bundled out of the Mexican Open, losing 6-2 6-3 to the unseeded Loonerty. The results mean just one of the four semi-finalists have previously played in a semi-final.

SIXTH seed Fizzler has ended unseeded Monaco player NinjaSwan 's giant-killing run with a tight three-set victory in the final of the Abierton Mexicano Telcel. The second set belonged to NinjaSwan, who, after trailing 1-2, won five consecutive games to level the match at a set apiece.
