Quick question about Shane Edwards. I was watching the game last night, we dont get to see an awful lot of Richmond over here, so it was the first time I've seen him.

Looks like he'll be a star. Question tho, I heard Bruce "Dumbarse" McAvaney say a couple of times that he's a natural left footer. I didnt see him kick on his left all night tho!?!

Is he left footed? Cus his skills on the right didnt seem too bad apart from 1 or 2 scrubbers. Or is Ol' Dumbarse talking shite again?

definately a right footer. dont know what bruce is on about.
shouldnt listen to bruce anyway, he watches deserate houswives.
good signs though for edwards. he has alot of conifidnence to break tackles and take some players on.

yeah i was very surprised with bruce, hes normally very knowlegable, and doesnt make mistakes like that. maybe he got edwards confused with someone else.

He is a right footer and he will be a superstar. He did some great things along with Foley in the midfield opening packs breaking off tackles and running around players. In 3 years time expect him to be a regualr name you here although he is great don't expect to much this year (he is still a first year player).

We can only hope that the coaches allow him to do what he was doing last night all the time.

At least if its only for the rest of this season, we can't go anywhere, who gives a f*ck if he gets caught once or twice a game? He will learn by him self when and when not to keep going.

yeah i agree he took many of the players on one stage got caught cause he had no one up feild but i like the enthusicatic nature..... lets hope he has a bright future.

From what i've seen so far is he runs so far with the ball that he doesnt steady and is stuffed by the time he comes to kick. Love him tho. Wish deledio would have a close look at the way he takes players on.

Coughlan Brown and Ottens were/are good players for us. Fiona wasnt. Whats your point?

We seem to be cursed.

Ottens looked like he would be an amazing player for us - did his back.
Brown was a very good player, extremely good - broke his leg.. missed basically 2 years.
Coughlan was a very good player - 2 knee reco's in a row.
Fiora was just a dud.

ummm, dont want to dissapoint you, but i was sitting on the fence on this dude, in his first couple of games, hadnt seen enough. But TW has one more good un on the list. Its slowly building TW.

I AGREE 100% with u lucas_hsv let the kid take em on he will eventually know when to get rid of the ball like u said .
