Ah because if something happened that is different from what actually happened, the possibilities for potential injury are endless!!!
They have really opened a can of worms here... and it will come back to bite them with a potential brownlow or gf game.

Lots of football incidents that have a risk of causing injury.

Perhaps we should start a petition of actual members threatening to pull our support as we have no confidence in the AFL acting fairly.

By now most people have moved on and the AFL mouthpieces will make sure of it.

But the actual argument by the AFL regarding impact to the body and not the head is quite extraordinary.

They've just completely made up an explanation of a verdict that was different from two days ago, out in the open, knowing that they can.
 
Any tackle that pins the arm is automatically 3 weeks.

There was one in our game last week. Can't remember which Crow got tackled. Maybe Sloane?

So the AFL rate an act severe due to the potential to cause injury rather than the act itself. May as well ban tackling or any form of contact.
