We played crap didn't we? Or were the Hawks too good?

Please don't play Richards ever again.. No excuses. Delsist him now.

I was pissed off from the start, things just didn't go out way.

Saints next week, They have the edge on us.

Then Geelong.. :rolleyes:

Hopefully we get some players back within the next two weeks.

we SHOULD beat geelong and saints, i expected comfortable win today and that would of been the case if our players learned to kick GOALS, not BEHINDS, you don't win matches on behinds.
 
hawks were too good on the night. its a hard loss to take because we had hope. but ho0nestly, our whole backline was out, plus our most important foward. plenty to hold our heads high about.

It was a high pressure game, and silly turnovers and decisions with the footy cost us on quite a few occasions.

We got smashed in the middle, why Richards gets a game has got me stuffed. Our conversion continues to be sh*thouse, as does our ability to keep the ball in our forward 50m and opposition sides continue to run the ball out of defence with relative ease.

Question for Collingwood fans - does the side even look like creating a scoring opportunity from a boundary throw or ball up inside our forward 50m? It stands out like dogs balls, how opposition teams slaughter us at stoppages in our attacking zone.

Don't think we can have Didak, Medhurst and Davis in the same team. Collectively, they do not provide a hell of a lot of defensive pressure.

Reid was great in the first half and Clarke - give him the Brownlow now. I would rather see Mick to continue to give these young guys a go in the side. Its blokes like O'Bree and Licuria that should make way for when our experienced players become available. They gave us absolutely naught tonight.

Really impressed with Cox tonight. He reminded me of a young Adam Goodes tonight, took opponents on, evaded tackles, good disposal and broke the lines. Goldsack was great down back and we need Neon Leon to play like that every week. He looked dangerous, and was in the right spots and front and aquare on most occassions tonight.
 
I thought richards is improving. had a good game today. he is only a 30 gamer! dont judge him till he gets to at least 50-60!
Teh hawks played well there is no doubt about it! We played ok, but the older senior players (bar swan) did not stand up when they needed too!
 
i think the majority of collinwood supporters would have killed themselves if richards becomes a 50 gamer :p

I walked away with two different opinions:

1) I ****ing hate Hawthorn Supporters; well more to the point the ones that sat near me. One was an old lady that turned around every 2 ****ing seconds and decided it'd be great to knock into my right leg everytime. Granted when I had jack of it I told her to turn the **** around and watch the actual game.

2) We played well; cept in front of goal. If I were a Hawthorn supporter I'd consider myself lucky.

Disapointed,not shattered

Definatly need some of our senior players to come back slowly.need some battle hardened palyers in there for the last quarters of games

Kids playing out of their skins though.will be fantastic for next year

I am not overly concerned. We dominated play, and the fact that we had so many more scoring shots proves that. We are still undermanned, and are looking good to make the finals, probably top 4 given our run home. Our kids have all shown something, pushed the best sides, and we have won our fair share of games with them at the helm. Just wait until we get our big guns back.

1. Supporters of any club could accidently do what that old lady did; yes i'd find it anoying just as you did! Tarkyn_24 you got it right, could of asked nicely first up.

2, A win is a win, im sure the pies would take a luck one if they got it! Hawks have deserved there win, they fought it out to the end, asume the pies won instead of the hawk, then the pies would of deserved the win. Granted you were out some top players, but preniership teams don't complain about losing becuse they were missin ##### & ######. The eagles have had good players missing yet they still managed to win!
 
what I am annoyed and disgraced about was how people were booing Dids. They don't even know the whole story. We were our own worst enemy today our goal kicking let us down and we were beating by better team. I think that ball did go out though.

If you read; I did ask politely. I didn't like her, and she was a Hawthorn supporter. I didn't like her because she was annoying.

I'm saying your lucky because we dominated chunks of play, and kicked poorly.

Having 5 or 6 regulars out of 22 had nothing to do with it :)
