THE GAME IS AFOOT! - SHERLOCK HOLMES PRESENTS

The WereHounds of the Baskervilles:

Basic rules:

Spoiler: RULES

Roles will be randomly assigned to all players, which will be communicated via PM (except villagers). The villagers must identify and kill all players not aligned with the village before these players can kill enough villagers to satisfy their win condition. Only one faction can win the game.

Each turn will consist of two phases.

Night phase (9:00pm – 9:30am AEDT)

Day phase (9:30am – 9:00pm AEDT)

Voting:

The reason for lynching rule will not be used for this game.

Please bold the name of the player you wish to lynch and tag the moderators.

Votes will not be counted if they are not bolded. All players must vote for a player to be lynched. Votes to abstain will not be counted as a vote. No self-voting. Voting is mandatory, failing to vote will result in a Modkill.

MULTILYNCH IS ON FOR THIS GAME.

DISCUSSING THE GAME

While the game is running players are not permitted to discuss the game anywhere, but in this thread; the Dead PM, or PMs related to this game, if you have one.
Posting screenshots and quoting PMs are prohibited. Players caught breaching these rules will be Modkilled without warning.

DEAD PLAYERS

Players who are killed are permitted to post a farewell post, if it does not impact the game (e.g. “Thanks for the game” or “good luck”). Dead players must leave the game immediately and are not permitted to post or like posts in the game thread or any PM they are a part of (except the Dead PM) until the end of the game.

EDITING/DELETING POSTS

Players are not permitted to edit or delete posts during the game. Doing so will result in the player being ModKilled

Voting is mandatory, failing to vote will result in a Modkill.

EVIL Factions

Dastardly Villains = Mafia

Irene Adler = Godfather - Night Immune. Seers as villager; Gets a seer each night.

Jack Stapleton = Underboss - Upon the death of the Godfather assumes their position

Charles Magnussen = Blackmailer - picks one player each night who must then vote for the player they are told to or be killed, cannot target the same player on consecutive nights

Mafia may make a kill each night. Blocking will not stop a Mafia kill, unless only 1 Faction member remains.

Wincon - All other evil and neutral factions eliminated, equal or outnumber the village


WereHounds = Wolves:

Eurus Holmes = Alpha - Night Immune. Seers as villager; Gets a seer each night.

Culverton Smith = Beta - Upon death of the Alpha, assumes their position

Jeff Hope = Rabid wolf - Once per game can choose to bite another player, if the bite is successful, a coin toss will decide whether the target dies or joins the Wolves faction.

WereHounds may make a kill each night. Blocking will not stop a WereHound kill, unless only 1 Faction member remains.

Wincon - All other evil and neutral factions eliminated, equal or outnumber the village


NEUTRALS:

MORIARTY = Serial Killer: Night Immune; Seers as Villager; each night gets one KILL.

The GOLEM = Vampire Head: Seers as Villager; each night gets one KILL.
Can recruit or kill one player each night.
Recruit limit is 3 players.
Seers as villager; Not Night Immune!

Recruits will seer as Vampires and are not Night Immune. If Head Vampire dies, recruits can continue to kill but not recruit.

Neutral Wincons – Make Final 4 or 3 depending on final player list.


GOOD FACTION:

Baskerville Constabulary - 3 Flogs that share a PM and have a one-off seer, protect and kill.
Inspector Lestrade; Sgt Sally Donovan; DI Dimmock.

Mycroft Holmes = Seer - Can seer a player of their choice each Night Phase; always gets the true result (except where noted in a role description); cannot seer themselves.

Mrs. Hudson = Vigilante - Each night phase, can kill a player of their choice.

Dr. John Holmes = Doctor - Each night phase, can protect (from kill actions only) a player of their choice. Cannot protect the same target on consecutive nights. Cannot protect from the amulet (Deerstalker) explosion

Sherlock = Jack of All Trades: Can either kill, protect (from kill actions only), Role-block or Seer a player each Night Phase (can't use the same action on consecutive nights). Must use all actions before using one for a second time.

Mary Watson = Hunter - (A well-armed villager.) If the Hunter is killed by Evil or Neutral, they can retaliate by killing one other player of their choice.

BaskerVillagers: Villagers with no special powers except innate wit, cunning and creativity.

Wincon - all evil and neutral factions eliminated

SHERLOCK’S DEERSTALKER =Amulet - Randomly handed out at the start of the game; protects against all night actions and lynching. Must be passed on before the end of the next day or it will be randomised. At a pre-determined time, it will explode.
