Should O'Loughlin be in the midfield?

I've read how Michael O'Loughlin would really like to play in the midfield instead of the forward line but Rocket has preferred to keep him in the forward line.
Do you reckon Michael would be better used in the midfield or keep him at the forward line where he has produced the goods?
At the moment, It's probably a bit of a mute point since we have the likes of Kelly, Cresswell, Schwass, Crouch, Bolton etc. who play roles in the midfield.
I think the Swans could maybe try him in the midfield a couple of times to see how he goes but probably he's best left in the forward line where he's at his best!

I would be inclined to position him just forward of the square, so he can 'slide' diagonally across a nominal half-foward line towards the HF flank / forward pocket area.

This will give him plenty of space to recieve the ball from a centre-square bounce, and to run through the HF lines to either goal on the run or chip onto a true FFs chest as he leads out.

This will be good for Mick as it gets him onto the ball where his pace and skill are best utilised and gives him plenty of room and time to read the play and be creative in his disposal. This is what I think he personally would prefer to do and I would be inclined to agree with him. AS one of our few genuinely skillful players, I feel his talents can be best used a little further up the goround where his pace and creative use of the ball can be best exploited.

However, he is to good a goal kicker to be kept away from the forward lines completely, so this is why I would suggest he prowls around that area between the goal side of the centre circle and the flanks of the 50m arc.

It seems to be his natural habitat.
