Was about to say, was Rowell's probably worst game, we managed to let Noble almost be BOG yesterday. Witts just slautered us in the second half, Miller I thought was their best mid though Anderson was classy. Humpries is a jet it's not a surprise he was lethal in front of goals

We have to suck it up & take some pain for a few weeks by dropping a player or two for those weeks.
Start with Hayward & also McInerny.
Not to punish them but to let them dominate a game at any standard. they need to get that feeling of confidence in their game back because they are just not going to find it in the current senior team where nearly everyone is looking out for themselves throughout periods of games. No doubt their replacements will also struggle in the seniors but Mitchell at least has had a taste. As you say Bedders, Bowman can have a go at Hayward's role for a few weeks.

Sheldrick just has to play ahead of Hanily who has had a very ordinary few games.

Yep, CC had some good moments but Noble had 30 disposals and was clear BOG unless they give it to Miller, whatever it was one or the other. KING/Humpries for the other one.

yep I mean bag the Pies or the Hawks but would you see this rubbish from their leaders? Our leaders are beyond soft, and that's the main issue here. When Grundy gets tired I feel he gives a lot of frees away, Cox for me has to look at this, and it has to be either put him more forward OR give him more rests, he waddled around exhausted after halftime.

With all due respect, I don't think that'll cut it. Because it will then become too easy to just look at the stats sheet and see that Hanily or Sheldrick or Paton or Francis have only had a dozen touches while Lloyd or Florent or McInerney or Roberts had double that amount. And then guess who gets dropped?

We've gotta actually get more specific about what we want this team to be built around. Have a few key metrics for areas we need to improve in - for mine, contested efforts, defensive efforts and tackling efforts - and pick the team based on that.

Instead of picking players we surely know by now are not going to help us in these metrics and then acting surprised when they make SFA difference.
