Xbox 360 Games Collection:

oQOM5Mg.jpg

Approx 170 - your Where's Wally challenge is to spot how many copies of certain games that I have (I have a few such as Top Spin 2 that are underneath each other). Also spot which one's have not even had the plastic taken off them (yes I have a backlog of games that I have made no attempt to get through in over a year, as I have not used my 360 since October 2014... even a bit before that since I only say October as that was when my Gold subscription ended.... I could easily resubscribe as I have the 12 month codes in my game area, I just can't be bothered connecting the console itself).

A few are imported titles (Halo: Reach, Mortal Kombat (the Komplete Kollection is the Australian version, the first MK is an imported one).
Not shown in the photo: Madden 11 (imported from Play-Asia), F1 2011, another copy of Conan.
I have over 100 XBLA and Games on Demand titles attached to my Xbox account.

My collection would be even bigger if I did not get rid of as many games as I have over the last few years (traded in 20 in 2008/2009... sold off 80+ more in 2013 and 2014).

In the middle of a move soon, so half the collection is packed! But the mrs and I are currently at around the 1300 mark.

PS2 collection sitting at 282.
Xbox OG sitting at 90ish.
PSOne sitting at 60 etc.
PS360Wii would be at around 250. PS4XBone around 40.
40ish DS/3DS.
40Ish GB/GBC/GBA.
40ish NES/SNES/64
400+ Boxed PC games.

Collectors editions out the wazoo: Morrowind, RE4, Skyrim, Mass Effect, World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online etc

Give/take 40 consoles. 10boxed. Here's a couple pictures, about 2/3 of the collection maybe.

As a gamer I think it's pretty cool, I was talking to a few people about my 360 collection (topic came up after my 360 game clean up a week ago). WE all rack up a collection of video games, some of them are small... some are large. Some people have kept their games and consoles as they grew up.... others trawl the internet and buy older collections as a way to experience what gaming was like "back then".

My only thing about it is how much money was spent over time. For example the Xbox 360 game collection I posted above - $20,400 IF every game was purchased at $120 (thankfully this was not the case). Now the games would be worth anywhere from $5 to $1 each (so yay for spending nearly $20,000 in 7-8 years and for it to be worth $200 or less now lol).

Even EB offers better than a dollar a game. So $400

The depreciation in value is why i don't bother collecting anything that isn't Nintendo. This gen and last gen in particular are really hard for me to justify having a collection mainly because most games lack replay value when trophies and achievements are artificially adding it, so the desire to want to play them again someday just isn't there for me anymore.

I could've had a collection that rivaled anyone on here had i kept it all but it wouldn't of been worth half of my N64 collection.

i like how that person has a CRT so probably actually plays the games. but i hate how people hoard every single colour of N64 and have two dozen controllers on their walls like how selfish can you get!!
