Wiggins back in? At the expense of a player who just helped us to a 51pt win? No disrespect to the Chief but...

mitch robinson filled the wiggins role, and did it so much better than wiggins ever will.

no change.
I think so, if he wasn't on the outer he would have played last week I get the feeling. Pity footy's not a strong man competition! Yarran or Browne might make way but I really hope they don't. If you can't kick and cant run and can't find consistancy as a medium sizer at his age...

There's a school of thought that players returning from injuries return via the Bullants. In Wiggins' case, he has been struggling for form since the Hawthorn game.

We're already carrying two players in Jamison and Fevola struggling to get over injuries. The last thing we need is another. If the club feels there are two many little men in Browne and Yarran, look elsewhere.

For me, Out: Yarran, In: Houlihan

Offer the same role, except Houlihan offers so much more than Yarran at this stage of his development.

Wiggins should have been dropped along with Cloke last week. Hasn't put in a good game when we've needed it most - against Fremantle and Hawthorn.

The only player I'd consider bringing back in is Houlihan (and no, him being dropped had nothing to do with form or that night out that people have suggested...)

Wiggins will be back because he plays a role.

He is our enforcer.

Strong, fearless and always gives a contest.

It's the same reason that players like Soloman get games every week.

Collingwood made one of these players their Captain!

Bring him back.

Solomon is a very talented player and should in no way be put into the same bracket as Wiggins. Easily a class or two above.

Collingwood are just plain stupid.

If we are still debating the value of a guy that's played over 100 games then that says something. Having him and Cloke out was the best thing that could have happened last week. They simply do not have the class to hurt opposition teams.

I would leave the team as it is- Yarran will come good. ;)

I'd like to give the chief a run with the Ants for a week or so - just been off the boil recently, and I think it might give him a chance to get some touches and run himself back into form.

I agreed completly, the opposition do have the class to hurt is if we do play these players. Wiggo is known for being hard at it but he is not consistantly hard at the contest, Judd is hard at every contest, Wiggins is hard at some contests, the last few weeks none. Robinson is a hard nut player, he does it and does it when ever he attacks the ball, not sometimes. Our structure looks great. No need to touch it, unless we are coming up against 2 big forwards which we aren't. And if we were I recon Hartlett would be tried.

It would be interesting to hear why the Ratten and MC havent given Wiggins a spell due to form so far. The fact that he was only out due to injury shows that he must be doing the tasks that he is given.

But that aside, its just silly to drop young players like Yarran, Browne or even Austin when they have only been give a couple weeks in the seniors and all have played reasonably well.

Wiggins is the ONLY hard player in our team, he is required until mitch robbo is old enough to have an intimidating presence or someone else on the team discovers a pen!s attached to their body.

Then what was the reason?

No doubt changes have to be made this week. The Crows will throw absolutely everything at Carlton this week and the Blues performance against the pies wasn't overly impressive.

Out: Yarran, Browne
In: Houlihan and one of Wiggins/Cloke/Fisher
