I quit nearly a year ago after being a pack a day smoker for a couple of decades or so. Went cold turkey, but then the missus bought me a pack of patches. That took the edge off it a bit. I tried licking one as Krusty did. That didn't do much for me.

I'm kind of half-half. I enjoy a smoke with a beer when I'm out so will buy a packet when I'm going out. When I've finished that packet I won't buy another one til the next time I go out. I've never felt the need to smoke all the time.
