OK guys, need some help here.
Don't usually start a new thread, so my apologies - but this really is a massive decision.
My query relates to S. Burgoyne. I've got him but unfortunately he'll be sitting on my bench for the next 3 weeks because of suspension, meaning that Harry Taylor will be on my field for a few weeks which isn't all that desirable.
However, the more I think about it, the more I think I should trade Burgoyne.
I have more than sufficient funds to trade Burgoyne this week to Bartel, and I'll have over 100k still in the salary cap. I had originally planned to get Bartel down the track in a trade for Palmer. If I am to do the Burgoyne to Bartel trade, it would mean that I pretty much keep Palmer for the whole year as a 7th midfielder. Is that too big a risk?
Regardless of whether or not I do the trade, I'll still be able to do the upgrades that I have planned over the next 5 or so weeks, it just means I'll have more cash to play with.
So, my question - is it worth biting the bullet and trading Burgoyne this week to try and ensure that my scores remain up there, or waiting to do the trade of Palmer for Bartel further down the track?
Very tough decision IMO, but I'm now leaning towards doing the trade this week.
