So, who's going, and how you getting there.

Im going to try book tickets through BASS tommorow morning, then worry about flights, trains, whatever after.

After all, if i have tickets to the game, i can drive as a last resort.

Says tickets go on sale 9.00 CST, so 9.30 our time.

I think we are a chance, would have prefered to play StKilda though.

GO PIES, PRELIM AGAIN.

Foxtel just said Saturday afternoon, dont know the time, but 2.30 local time probably.

Dont know about non members, Collingwood brochure says Members can by tommorow, I'd suggest checking the BASS website.

Well Jetstar got a saturday morning flight in at 6.30 am or there abouts for 60 bucks....might get onto that one...then get tickets...then worry about coming home!!

So is there a Bass outlet here in Vic or will someone like ticketek sell tickets over here. If not is phone and internet the only way??

ah sorry mate i didnt quite catch that lol..? what is it :p

Wow, with that post you have earnt my respect. You have gone from a 'newbie' to a 'member'.

Bass is SA's equivalent of Ticketmaster. If you want to get into AAMI stadium next Saturday, you need to get your tickets from Bass.

Im going, still with 50K Crows members and there would be 5-10K Collingwood fans that want to go over, and general public, it might be hard to get tickets

I wanted to fly in and out on the same day on sat, but the last flight out for both virgin and qantas is at 8pm which is too early! :(

Worked it out, plenty of flights in the morning, so catch a plane to Adelaide, then train or bus home, then sleep all day Sunday.

Seems the most effective form of gettin there and back, and no accommodation required.

Also we r putting on a BBQ outside the ground b4 the match so u can sink some p1ss and have a snag b4 the game

You should have seen Jetstar, $59 flight on Sat morning, my computer froze, and after restart it was $89. Then had to do something and refreshed the page, $149.

Have got my flights though, 10.05am leave Melbourne on Tiger which arrives 10.55am, and I leave that heckhole at 7.25pm on Qantas, and get back just after 9pm. $215 return.

I've taken a punt and booked flights.

Call Bass tomorrow morning 9.29.

Surely will be able to get 1 single ticket anywhere in the ground right?

I'm going to try for tickets on Wednesday on the General Public sale, hopefully there is some good tickets still left over.

Then it just comes down to getting cheapish flights.

Bloody backwards method of ticketing! Why no internet?
I can already see the visions of having to constantly re-dial the number over and over to get through.

If I can get tickets I will be there!

So is it on-sale 0900 Adelaide time (0930 Melb) or 0900 Melbourne??

Im considering it. But I really cbf spending a couple of hours pressing the redial button hoping to get through.

Not sure whether to pay ridiculously high plane prices or spend $100 e/w on the bus. Or maybe get a few people together for a car pool? Wow, thats actually a cool idea :D
