A set shot and just went for it without thinking.
Hopefully this tells him something as it went straight through the middle!

Go Perrie!
Keep it up!

Maybe Vince should take this approach.

With Vincey though it's more experience. But a non thinking approach would have been better than what he did.
One of the crows leaders should have whispered in his ear to give him confidence though.

When Perrie lines up for a set shot he would have a million thoughts running through his head, not just about the state of the game and 'what will the crowd think' too. I'm sure the AFC has done plenty to "help" him with his kicking - routines, grip, run up, technique, balance, follow through etc - and sometimes what you end up with is paralysis by analysis. Richo is the same.

I remember Perrie sinking a long goal against the Bulldogs after a Reilly smother. The ball scrambled around, fell to Perrie and he nailed it from fifty before he could even think about it. Give him a set shot from 30 metres and he'd find it more difficult. Akermanis is one player who takes his set shots very quickly - doesn't give himself time to think, just kicks it.
