we used to live in Adelaide near one of the huge parklands, and would regularly walk in them in the evenings. One evening we stopped walking and my wife just stood still for a couple of minutes. Suddenly she started screaming, slapping herself all over and ripping her clothes off. Guys started to emerge from behind bushes and walk briskly away from us.

Lots of bull ant mounds in those parklands.
