Pity Cornell is too busy with his rubbish RnB solo crap to reunite one of the best bands of the 90s.

Geez how bad is the outfit on the guy right of cornell in the article picture. Please tell me the bum bag was never 'in' interms of fashion.

thats Matt Cameron, former Soundgarden drummer and current Pearl Jam drummer.

and the bum bag is still in :D

Dam You Chris Cornell!!!

Spoonman would have been awesome to see.

Matt Cameron
Kim
Ben
Tom Morello

all playing in the one band!!!!

I like the little note left on the bottom of the article too :D

geez tad is looking massive but apart from that they really sounded like they did when spoonman came out.

I get the feeling they all really really really hate cornell.

he mustve been one nasty junkie.

any inside info on what he's been up to?

the only musical thing i know hes done since soundgarden was appearing on 2 or 3 tracks on Dave Grohl's Probot side project.

other then that hes been a ghost, such a shame

Decent lineup, except for Tom Morello.

He would wreck every good riff with his hideous squeaking and squawking.
He's spent 20 years hiding the fact that he cannot play with various fx.

Strip it all back, and Morello is capable of one riff- this one:

--2--0--2--0--2--0--2--5--

And that's all he knows.

Another near miss reported from a couple of months ago. Cornell got up on stage with Pearl Jam & ripped out the old Temple of the Dog classic 'Hunger Strike' {shivers}:

... Kim Thayil and Ben Shepherd were also there and later Jerry Cantrell jumped up & joined in on 'Alive' ...

such a shame that the best set of pipes in rock history is wasted on bland solo crap. Hearing cornell belting out hunger strike gave me goose bumps. gonna dig that cd out tonight for sure.

Tom Morello can shred with the best of them, he just thinks its cheese. Those rock riffs are classic as well, but in saying that, Im bored to death with Rage. But god i loved them in the late 90s.

never got the love for soundgarden... kinda overrated imo. They only have one decent track. The rest? ehh...
So you heard Black Hole Sun on Triple M, eh?
