Multiplat South Park - Snow Day

Hey new kid, new South Park game is coming. It describes itself as an action RPG. You can play on your own or with up to 3 friends and if you're a loser like Kyle with no friends you can play with randos. What could be more toxic, 3 randoms or Cartman?

But the first two were great, so will play.

It says gameplay trailer but I felt like it didn't show too much general game play. I wasn't sure the genre until I read the description.

Yeah it doesn’t look great but I saw something about it not being a full priced game, not sure how accurate that is though.

Though I might play the Fractured But Whole again as I never got around to beating it.

I loved Stick and Fractured but also don't think we need another one of those.

Will reserve judgement but don't have high hopes for this.

Not sure about going away from the south park art style to 3d modelling.
Enjoy the first two but got them for free for PS plus. Depending on price and reviews will probably wait for this one to drop a bit.

Kinda reminds me of the South Park 64 game, which I loved so much when I was a kid.
But I also thought the fog was a feature, and the boring repetitive gameplay was just a vehicle for hearing South Park quotes.

3D looks ok, good balance with the 2D style.

With that being said, looks like it's going to be a pretty shallow game.

I think action rpg would be more fun in a way. The second game had terrible pacing I think, slowed down by the grid fight system. Even though there was more stratergy than the first.

Also the graphics here remind me of South Park 64 lmao.

Well they called phone destroyer a real time strategy in comparison to action.

It was a much more interesting game, the only thing holding it back was the first game having the pick of the jokes and plotlines.

The ones I've seen are merely contrasting how great and polished those games were compared to this.

I saw a stream playing this early, I think it would be fun with mates but not something full price. It’s not doing anything that hasn’t been done or at a elite level but still looks okay.
