Comes down to motive I think. Between the arcs players sometimes do try and kick to touch for a spoil out of bounds, or play wide defensively.
Majority of the contentious deliberate OOB are between the arcs. This rule gets rid of most of the decisions that really look like a raffle.

When going forward, no player is deliberately going wide to get an out of bounds. They want to score.
Should only be your own F50 excluded not your D50

C4 posted this on the weekend re Tsatas. I know he has issues by foot, but the lack of true ball winners on our list is staggering, especially considering Crouch is gone and Schoenberg is going to be delisted.

Turn him into a handball first player and get him to run and dish and I think there’s a decent chance there is a player there.

Takes Murphy spot on the senior list. Trade cost minimal.

Having said that, he may well prefer to stay in Vic or go to Port.

Seems a horrid list fit for Port and Richmond to me, and a much better fit for us or the Pies.
Mutineer werent you hot on him in his draft year?

But defenders also try to get the ball over the line. Sometimes umps pay it, sometimes they don’t. Amons recent free against for example. It still retains the ability for a dumb umpire to **** up a game.

Thank **** Draper has chosen the Lions

Once again another club saves us from our own stupidity. Regardless of any changes to the ruck rules, we shouldn't be blowing our wad on a ruck when we have such glaring holes in our midfield. We're not St Kilda.

I don't know our proposed offer but for all we know the crows didn't make Draper a stupid offer because we have other irons in the fire and we don't want to screw our cap space.

Likely to stay on unders? Lol
The new age is cash is King!
De Koning and Aleer say hi.
Give Thilthorpe an offer he can’t refuse in future deals and Rachelle we will see but ability to match zone hey.
Ok, you are quite confused.

Firstly, note I used SA boys and massive Crow's fans, Rankine and TT. NOT Rachele. You can add Draper to Rankine and TT also.

If you dont believe SA players remaining home whilst receiving a very competitive salary - not absolute top $ (think perhaps 85-90% of what they could earn elsewhere) then we fundamentally disagree and not worth further discussion.

No mention of Rachele.

Using TDK (staying in home state) and Aleer (apparently Crows not interested and leaving an interstate club anyway so different) are not relevant are they?

And I normally don't work in absolutes, hence saying "likely"

Is that ROB or Cameron who hits that? And who the **** was on Sidebottom to leave him alone 35 metres out? Sitting in the nosebleeds of the Riverbank stand you miss out on a lot! That’s shit.
Sidebottom carves us up every time we play them. Doesn't get big numbers but absolutely kills us with every touch because we give him so much room.

Bloke must smell like shit because no one wants to go anywhere near him.

Not sure that this has been mentioned anywhere else but this morning it was mentioned that the flu had gone and still going through the club and particularly RT nearly didn't play. Laird just getting over it and ANB was supposed to be doing the press thing today but had to pull out.

That could be a good reason for not showing up last Thursday.

Would definitely have had an impact if its true. Hope they are well by Friday or it will be more of the same

Any reliable info on this or just a guesstimate?

My guess was Burgess had been our top paid off field footy guy with the exception of Nicks. If Assistants are making say 200k ish that he would be on 300-400k. Surely they wouldn’t be paying more than say 1m per year?

Huge loss if he goes and I trust Trigger13 source. Mate, your best guesstimate on his current Crows salary and what he may be offered at Juventus?
Juventus pay people 500k per WEEK
