I’m ****in sick of Premierships being won on the back of leg ups. What seems like small advantages, end up being what makes the difference in equalised competition.

Get rid of PP’s, academy’s and pay at least full tote odds for FS’s. I reckon 3rd party deals should be linked to the salary cap and limited for each club.

Yes, that was under the delightful “old” system. We finished second bottom with less than 5 wins, thus qualifying for a PP.

It wasn’t the pick used for NN.

A terrible system at the time - was our first poor season since 2001 and were rewarded for it.
Hawthorn were beneficiaries in 04 and of course, Richmond and Melbourne etc.

Whether this current system is overly better - in terms of the lack of transparency.
Anyway, one pick and a few extra rookie spots, not really breaking the bank . Less than what others (North, GC) have recently got.

Point is more for some reason Adelaide again didn't qualify for one despite being pretty shit, compared to literally every club getting one in the same situation.

Murray has spent time forward multiple times in his junior and senior career. He's just not talented enough.
