Home & Garden Spiders can get ****ed

The thing is after a hot day when its cooling outside you go to the other rooms where the lights have been off and the buggers are on the hunt. Because it happens so often you get a sixth sense they are near you even when you turn the lights on and see nothing. You just come to expect it.

Remembered today a story an old boss told me once. He was living up in Nth Qld at the time and him and 3 other mates were in an old landcruiser driving down the road, the driver flipped down the sun visor and a spider the size of a hand dropped down onto the drivers lap

Apparently you have never seen 4 fully grown men try to get out of a moving vehicle as quick as they tried!!

Sitting here reading this thread just now and work mate comes and says there is a big huntsman in the toilet. Glad I relieved my bowels earlier...

A red back is one spider I would kill, especially if it was near the front of the house.

We used to have redbacks in the corners of our windows when I was growing up. They just stay in their spot and are fairly harmless. Just leave them be and they are OK

Similarly, we used to get some funnel webs. Provided you arent in the garden, they dont really go wandering. I wouldnt trust them though, and would kill them if I saw them.

The worst, by a country mile, are white tails!!!! They just walk everywhere, will crawl on your bed, in your kitchen and food etc. They are bad news, and I will tear apart the house to kill one if I see it!

Huntsmen......love them. Awesome spiders. We have one that lives in our clock above the TV. It is a real character!!!

There is a huntsman in my room atm above my curtains. Tricky spot to try and catch it, just going to leave it until it moves. Only a baby so I'm not that fussed.

I'd be more concerned about where it's parents and 800 siblings are.....

I am not scared of spiders.
That's what you say now..... But what about when 803 of them are crawling over you when you are sleeping

Got out of the shower tonight, grabbed my towel, saw a spider on my arm, whacked the towel against my arm about 5 times and generally started freaking out, realised it was actually some strands of hair. It was touch and go there for a bit, but I'm OK :thumbsu:

This thread might be messing with my head.

In un-related news I might be moving to China...
That's going to make getting to prematch catch ups awfully expensive for you
