well
they are pretty big.

but i'd agree with the fact that i would have prefered other bands seeing as i saw bloc last year, and mgmt had a tour last year aswell..
like
Oasis
or
Blur (YES 90s BRITPOP lol)

That's one of the worst things I've seen......ever.

hopefully friendly fires come west for a show over here.

i doubt it though.

They are probably the only band on that list that I haven't seen which I really want too. Bloc Party are great live and Yves Klein Blue and Jack Ladder are good but overall not worth the money for me personally.

Friendly Fires tour please :thumbsu:

Janes Addiction and Flaming Lips are doing sideshows everywhere so it's a great line up if it gets 2 of my favourite bands to Oz!

Monday 27th July Janes Addiction
Tuesday 28th July The Flaming Lips

Both at Horden Pavillion.

Haven't been this excited since I heard Ween and The Pixies were coming.

I'll be fapping in the front row at The Flaming Lips sideshow. Will definitely hit up the JA show as well, but the times on the Ticketek website look pretty suspect for that price...

Outside of those two acts, the festival itself looks very weak...

Sure does mate and if The Flaming Lips and Janes Addiction weren't doing side shows I don't think I would go to it. Big bucks to see 2 bands play 45 minute sets just aint worth it with all the other shit my ears would have to endure. That happened to me at the BDO a few years ago, Battles at about 4 and then nothing until Rage. Tough Day.
