LIFE after football begins tonight for former Richmond coach Danny "Spud" Frawley.
Experts' tips
After 21 years as a player, assistant and senior coach, Frawley will make his debut in the radio commentary box for Triple M.
"I must say this week has been strange and I am a bit restless especially watching my old club (St Kilda) against Brisbane," Frawley said.
He also admitted that while Richmond was good to him as coach, his heart belongs with the Saints.
"Deep down, I will always be a St Kilda man as I have left a lot of my body as a player on Moorabbin and my best mates are from there. Stewart Loewe, Nathan Burke and Robert Harvey are all big parts of my life," he said.
After quitting as coach last year, Frawley has kept his distance from Punt Rd, although he has kept in regular contact with Andrew Krakouer.
Frawley will be on air on Sunday when the Tigers tackle Geelong.
Andrew's father, Jimmy, has flown across from Western Australia to watch his son play for the first time after serving time in a Perth jail.
"It will be a special day for Jimmy. I always remember him asking me while in jail to look after Andy as if he was my own son," Frawley said.
