Re: Spud's SuperCoach Preview (Round 1; Part 3) + Scores and In-Game Discussion (Richmond vs Carlton

This is my first time playing. How have I done?

Deledio 100
Martin 89
Ellis 50
Yarran 111
Murphy 119 (238 I assume captain doubles his score?)
Kruezer 125

I think it turns out 6/713 so far

Are anyone's SC teams showing their scores? Will this change once we get to a full lockout?

Not the worst........a super start would roughly be +100 more:thumbsu:

Re: Spud's SuperCoach Preview (Round 1; Part 3) + Scores and In-Game Discussion (Richmond vs Carlton

10/802

So far having the wrong rookies on the bench cost me a combined total of 152. Good to know the ability is there though...

Only two rookies to go now (magner and dickson) so hopefully I can at least make my predicted 2015.

Re: Spud's SuperCoach Preview (Round 1; Part 3) + Scores and In-Game Discussion (Richmond vs Carlton

Really don't understand how Lid's scored 100! Thought he wouls have been closer to 60ish

To see he has outscored Martin really shocked me, as he, along with Cotch and Roo were the reason we had a sniff...

Champion Data, you never fail to shock us!

I disagree. I watched the game and saw Deledio pick up at least 5 possessions directly from the opposition which is generally huge points. Was also impressed with his fight for the contested ball on a few occasions. He also had a hand in one of Martin's goals which seemed to lift his Supercoach score at the time.

Martin played well in the second quarter but didn't seem to go on with it in the second half. If it wasn't for his 2 goals it would have been much worse for his supercoach score.

727/9

* D2 D3 * * D6 D7
* * * * M5 *
R1 *
* * F3 * F5 F6 *

Still got my cannons in the midfield to come. Projecting 2024. Mildly disappointing.

I got Ellis onto my bench on DT, but didn't make the change on SC. Really regretting that for this rounds score. Having said that if he averages 50 pts, he'll still make money.

How many people make a sideways trade before price rises to get rid of their spud rookie for the player with the potentially highest price rise?

i do it. i allocate 2 trades to correct rookie mistakes. not saying i would use them regardless, i would only do it if there is a substantial difference between the one i have and another that is scoring well. even though it's only after 2 games, it is a fairly solid indication of how they will perform in the weeks after the first 2 rounds.

I always burn one for this reason, sometimes two.

Ed Curnow springs to mind last year.

I have a feeling 2000 will be a fair score this round.

I'm in trouble. 6/515
Although only 2 premiums have played in fairness.

Yep, Curnow came in for me last year, but only after the second week.

A few years ago I brought in Cheney after 100 in his first week. That taught me a lesson a lot of others might learn about not waiting until after the second week... :eek:

Re: Spud's SuperCoach Preview (Round 1; Part 3) + Scores and In-Game Discussion (Richmond vs Carlton

823 from 10 so far. Actually happy enough with that when I see that my rookies are averaging 70 and premiums 100.

Re: Spud's SuperCoach Preview (Round 1; Part 3) + Scores and In-Game Discussion (Richmond vs Carlton

10/864, projected 2060 score from SC (with 2 rookies yet to play: magnar/clarke)

Happy with JRoo - the thing that impressed me most about him last year is 1. he always get goals even with limited opportunities 2. He seems to do the bits a lot and is actually consistently 70 pt getter even when not marking. This compared with his cousin, who has no ground level game, so need like 10+ marks or bust really bad. Jroo is also a much more reliable setshot.

Ellis should be fine though having to rely on the lot of Malceski/Ellis/Bugg/Clarke for a couple weeks is not very comfortable.

Re: Spud's SuperCoach Preview (Round 1; Part 3) + Scores and In-Game Discussion (Richmond vs Carlton

OK it is 3:25pm and my SC team is locked and loaded. Time to mentally switch off.....

Even have $15,600 to spare. Don't dare to even think about ways to see if I can squeeze in that last few dollars onto the ground.... :eek:

I finished mine before the Giants game.
Haven't touched a player since !

Re: Spud's SuperCoach Preview (Round 1; Part 3) + Scores and In-Game Discussion (Richmond vs Carlton

I've been lucky enough to keep most of the sh*t on the bench this week, 10/982 (inc. 3 rookies and 2 mid-prices). Bench = 5/146 (0, 17, 30, 44, 55)

But, I think I'm f***ed in the long run with Boumann, Morris and Ellis in the backs. I think they all fall into the 'not for SuperCoach catagory', I might look to burn an early trade in the coming weeks if there is a standout rookie.

Preaching to the choir.

I think they can improve (I hope), probably not that much though. Ellis should be fine, but Morris is going to be far too defensive, and Bouman will be 60 at best, 30 at worst, so not much upside.

Agree with 2000. A lot of Rookies not scoring too well. Well, A Kennedy did. If you had him starting on the ground:eek::p

Re: Spud's SuperCoach Preview (Round 1; Part 3) + Scores and In-Game Discussion (Richmond vs Carlton

1153 from 12 (Thanks to captain Pendlebury:D) Like most my rookies are under performing!

Still have Ablett, Boyd, Watson, Fyfe,Broughton, Dangerfeild, Porpus, Lake, Magner, Redden to come
