Carr said that he looked an AFL player in his presser, hopefully he is safe for now. Thought he looked better than Evans, Farrell, and Mead that game.

Unfortunate that he got the mismatch with Waterman after Ratugolea did his injury. Very promising with his marking ability and that set up play he started with that handball which only resulted in a behind but still, a lot to work with.

Impressed Carr and more importantly impressed me

Was clean overhead and at ground level, hit targets with low fast passes, took the game on when he had the chance.

He looks a player.

No pressure from the midfield killed the defence. Also had to be more accountable on a key forward with Esava going off in third.

Yep, there was a lot of transition defending all day really on a hot day, not surprised a first gamer was wrecked.

Watching Josh has been one of the true joys of this awful season. Hopefully the mention of him re-signing is true. Easily 2 years.

The Cleanliness below his knees is absolutely outstanding, did not fumble the ball once, the composure from a debutant was pleasing to see.

Compare Lai to Jones and it is really disappointing how Lai looks as good as jones and he is 20 years old 1 game under his belt and has only had 1 year in an afl enviroment.

I think Nick Stevens had a great first game- not 100% sure what he did in the first quarter.
