So you have not watched any St kilda games outside of one.
You know that Marshall is not in good knick, and right now is best suited for a 2nd tall/2 ruck role and TDK is best suited to replace Marshall right now, it's an overpay but **** it 95% of the cap has to be spent and right now we can spend 105% of the cap due to banking.
So you don't know what St Kilda is arguing for, you don't know list management, you don't know tactics, you don't know structure of the side.
You know nothing at all.
I understand all the points made by your club around priority access and I do think the AFL needs to reign back some of the advantages the others have around priority access.
However,
spending upwards of $1.5m on a ruck who is highly promising and could well become one of the top 5 rucks in years to come is madness. In my humble opinion. Smacks of desperation in that the Saints want to land one (anyone) and are willing to pay anything to get that man. It's along the same lines as the Blues paying $800k for Saad and Williams a few years back. $800k for a half back flanker back then...that was madness.
I have a soft spot for the Saints given I spent most of my high school years sneaking into Moorabbin to watch the games. I hope for their sake that TDK stays with the Blues so that it's taken out of the Saints hand.
