I'm not exactly what the 7 stages of grief are, but right now I am at the Angry stage.
I've been through the disbelief.
Then through the blame part where you look to find all the others that were at fault (poor umpiring decisions, time keepers, Macca's poor kick, Pav's miss etc, etc).
Also through the part where you question all the things that could have been done better / differently to get a different result (Macca's and Pav's misses, someone taking a mark in the last seconds instead of Taylor grabbing it uncontested, better ways to defend the lead, not running down the clock in the 2nd q etc, etc).
Now I am angry.
Angry that we twice blew match winning leads by trying to run down the clock in the second quarter, and letting them get on top in the 4th quarter.
I know acceptance will come - cos what else is there for us to do?
But right now I am angry.
I hope the coaches and players are also angry. And I hope they stay angry too.
